Sometimes, we meet a person and we feel he/she is our soul mate. Even if it lasts for a brief period, we feel it is timeless while we are experiencing it. The same thing happens in music; somerimes we find an interpreter that seems to be born to play a particular piece of music. In this sense, Lisitsa and Beethoven are soulmates.

What these fingers and the brain achieve is a real miracle for the ear: 10 fingers move independently of each other with finely graduated velocity and with 10 milliseconds of precise timing for each keystroke, otherwise you would immediately hear any friction in Rachmaninoff's note flow. And this elegance of fluid movement is also wonderful for the eyes. Bravo Valentina Lisitsa, Superstar!
