Too bad the churches today don't sing these wonderful old hymns anymore.

Very moving and beautifully sung. A wonderful arrangement of a great poem. Thank you. I recite that poem with the students at the beginning of my History of Music class.

So beautiful, Dan! Thank you for sharing God's love through your developed talent of musical composition! I absolutely love this. The music and the visuals so well combined. The ocean's water, a representation of God's love, immediately made me think of some related favorites of mine, "O Love" by Elain Hagenberg and "The Love of God" by Eric Nelson. Thank you, again!

Had the pleasure of meeting Dan Forrest a few years ago. A very down-to-earth dude, with a magnificent talent for creating pieces that give every vocal part something fun to do. I have no doubt my choir will be doing this arrangement eventually, since it is just as beautiful as his other works.

One of the ONLY songs that brings me peace to my life. This is absolutely a favorite song. Truly lovely. I can picture being at peace and relaxed. This is a big deal for someone who struggles with severe anxiety and focus attention issues. Thank you for this gift it means so much in this hardship in my life.

I dedicated this work (breath of life) to my beloved grandmother while I was taking care of her in her last days of life, more than a grandmother she was my mother and she rested from her works keeping an unwavering faith in the Lord. She rested waiting for a future where God will give her a new breath of life. [1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18].❤

Thank you for a magnificent performance of this beautiful piece! I am very moved by it. My choir is performing it this coming weekend and as you might know dress rehearsals don’t always start out the best. We have a few hours this week to make it sound 50 % as good! Thank you for the inspiration!!

I performed the acapella version of this song with my Christian School for National Competition 2 years ago. We went all the way, earning 6th in the country! Thank you, Mr Forrest, for making that possible for us🤎
I would love to know what influenced your choice to lower the key from what your original recording was.

Dr Forrest, once again, thank you for this beautiful arrangement which captures the anticipation, excitement and movement, inviting people to "come, let us adore Him". Thank you Dr Forrest for this amazing arrangement! It brings out the surreal imagery of the angels singing on high. This is a masterpiece in so many ways, showcasing the wide range of techniques used to bring out the lyrics of the song. You have captured the sense of wonder of Christ's birth throughout the song and the grandness and glory of all the angels singing in the final "Gloria". May God continue to use your music to touch many lives! 😊

SIMPLY STUNNING!!! After 25 years singing in our choir in Edmonton Alberta Canada 🇨🇦 this is the most beautiful, emotional, inspiring piece we have ever done! It’s not even close. In 2018 we sang it in New York at Carnegie Hall with a 150 voice all-Canadian choir and an all-American orchestra of 80 musicians with my brother Dr. Laurier Fagnan conducting and it was a bucket-list moment to give us chills!!! We were vibrating when we left the stage WOW so thank you DAN FORREST for this very special experience. 👏❤️🇨🇦🎶

2. Vanitas Vanitatum 원문 (라틴어): Vanitas vanitatum, omnia vanitas! Cogitationes mortalium timidae, et incertae adinventiones nostrae. Umbra sumus et lux tua, Domine, in aeternum.
