I need to find an entry level job where overtime is basically uncapped and earning potential is high. I have heard working in an oil field can be this. Is this accurate? If so, how would I go about finding such jobs? Would companies hire a 48 year old with zero experience in the industry? Thanks so much for your help!

Where is your vent. Also I'm pretty sure your p-trap is to close to that 90

That has to be the most backwards way I've ever seen some one build stairs... I've built a lot of stairs myself. I'm also thinking you landed the bottom step a bit too close to the door for trim out.

I believe code is 11" min stair tread depth. So, maybe you're note counting for 1" nosing. You seem to have the space, so I'd make them at least 11+". Also recommend adding a 2x4 on the stud wall sides against your stringers to give you space for drywall and skirt board. Cutting skirt board to the stair treads never really works out well. Glue and screw it.

The split pay is just a way to screw ya out of overtime. Some places pay appropriately based on the week you’re actually working. 14 on 14 off, hitch starts on Tuesday but Friday is the end of the pay period…. ? Nah If they aren’t treating your 14 days in a row as 2 weeks of clocking in/out, they are screwing you over.

My husband works on boat docks and metal buildings. He installs tin sheets. On a project like yours where he was installing and eyebrow on a boat dock, he took the metal sheet panels around the top in straight pieces 7:05 like u have them here (not cut). He left them that way al across the top. When done with the side, he went back with grinder (could also be done with skill saw) and cut across the flat part of the top. It saves ALOT of headache!!
