All these people saying that the Ram Air Intake is horrible because it sucks up hot air is garbage.. especially on these Honda Accords because on the k24 the headers are behind the motor.. so no heat from the headers are near the filter.. also.. if you spend your money on a decent one you can avoid shitty builds and decrease in horsepower.. there's a huge difference between name brand and knock off. But don't get me wrong cold air is significantly better. Although ram air isn't the worse like you guys are putting it out to be

Short ram intakes make you lose horsepower cuz all your doing is sucking up hot air. hot air is less dense than cold air (;

short ram is good... but honestly... the reason for a COLD AIR INTAKE.. is to suck up fresh cool air.. with a short ram.. all your getting is the heat from your headers... its not really breathing like it should.. i have a built 2000 accord 4cyl also... so i do my research

Wow, ive got the V6 J30A1 and it sounds soo much better than the F23A1 with an intake. Also, yours seems kinda lazy to rev and its kind of buzzy. The VTEC engagement is not as ferocious as the V6, i can barely here it.
