Do you just lube top on both sides only which is 2 points? Or you do the bottoms also for 4 points?

I do the top rack and bottom rack, inside and outside, on both sides of the slide room. 8 Gibs in total, plus the bearing/coupler at the bottom of each motor, inside the black plastic. Lookup "My RV Works" with Darren for a better demonstration

Why CRC Brand only? I can't find CRC power lube in my city. None of the Auto Parts stores, Hardware stores nor even RV Repair shops have it. There are other brands of Dry Lube with PTFE in them readily available. Why must it be CRC brand.

I agree, yes we can order from Amazon but I’d rather buy locally. Sooooo, why CRC? WD40 has a slide lube with PTFE & I bought it. Now I’m hearing from Lippert that Schwintek slides don’t need lubricating as maintenance.

Can I use a reg king mattress instead of the one that's in the trailer now? I have back and arthritis and have a really tough time sleeping. 😢. Would a reg king memory foam be ok to swap out?

Hello again, usually the standard King mattress size is 76" x 80". We suggest measuring your current mattress and seeing what size it is. If it is the standard king size of 76" x 80" it could be swapped out, but there would be a three inch overhang on two sides due to the current mattress on the bed frame being 70" x 80". Does the set screw on the outside Just go into the slot to keep the motor from moving upward or does it actually thread into a specific hole in the motor housing?

It appears to nestle into a hole in the motor. Lippert told me it was aluminum and I could break it from the inside since my slide was stuck closed - NOT!! I got it out another way and its a steel screw, zinc coated, all the way.

@@iMakos101 That is what some techs said they would do. I have an attitude tou hauler 3322SAG. I was able to get mine open about a 1-2" they I got a super small right angle driver and was able to get it out. Its just a pressure fit onto the motor so it stays put. I finally have mine in the shop for repair. I think the post in the wall is jammed up or a key holding two parts of the shaft sheared off? Dunno yet..... IT IS NOT AN ALUMANUM BREAKABLE SCREW - Lipper told be to just break it with the motor from the inside but its definitely to breakable aluminum. The Lipper help is miserable and they have no clue. Its a crap design too bein able to have this thing stuck in - Better than stuck out though...

@@victorburns3620 I had to drill through the corner of my slide with a hole saw to get the screw. Once the screw was out I could lift the motor and easily push the slide out. There is a cover I put back over where I cut so it's no problem

The exact camper I am looking for,and want,...although I'm wanting a 2017 model. This 2016 model is nice,though! Looks to be far easier to set up that a pop up folding tent trailer,...which I WAS going to consider.

It would be nice if they provided some provision for directing the lube to where it needs to go. Like a little tube you spray the lube into and it directs it at the proper spots.

Why don't the have a hole where the screw is with a painted cap or stripped cap so you can Always get to that screw....

My issue is the slide is out of "timing" after 10 short camping trips and no one around will fix it...... Open to reasonable suggestions...

@@franknaiman5219 Some guys I called said they would tear apart the outside of the coach to get access. - Lippert! or in my case also Eclipse Manufacturing / Attitude Toy Haulers. NOBODY want to touch it either. They refuse to work on any of this Schwintek stuff. Dumb design you cannot service this when it fails closed.

Took hours of fiddling with it.

Especially with motor homes, I don't take a second look unless the price is disclosed. Is the seller ashamed of it? Is the price subject to the mood (at that moment) of the seller? And while hard reality is being discussed, you'd be hard-pressed to find any other purchase that depreciates faster than a motor home -- drive this baby off the lot and it drops $20K in value -- and in 5 years, its worth half of what you paid.
