ℹ For everyone with high-quality/fast-write SD cards like myself: It is NOT the card. Some older DSLRs (in my case: Canon EOS 60D) have an ARTIFICIAL 12 minute (or 4.28GB) recording limit. Only learned about this thanks to "Ray Ortega" here on KZbin. It IS possible to circumvent this limit by using the (free) Magic Lantern firmware and ENABLE the setting "Movie Restart". DISCLAIMER: Try this at your own risk. It MAY lead to over-heating or other issues I am not familiar with. Also, this requires updating your camera's firmware. You've been warned.

At first I couldn't tell the difference, they both looked kinda crappy to me... Then I realized the video was playing at 720p, and I had to change it to 2160p... FML!!

I have had the same issue, however my SD card is a 128GB with a 250mb/s write speed. Recording stops around 12 minutes usually. Is the solution again to find one with a bigger write speed? Camera is a 1300d Thanks!

Very nice video! I have to say though, the removal of the hands with screwdrivers, twisting, left marks on the dial around 4:24. Did you not care about this dial? Probably better to have the proper hand removal tools?

I've recorded video/photos for years with my 60D (no issues) and only started getting this error in the past year or so....with upgraded SD cards. It's really strange. I have a 90D also and it's awesome but I still wanna use the 60D as a side camera. I'll keep digging till I find a solution. It might just be getting old like the rest of us. ;0) PS. The issue happened just yesterday again with an Extreme Pro 170MB

Hello, I have a similar watch from tissot, a couturier on a bracelet and from what I’ve found on it online it seems that my model has a Valjoux 7750 in it. Is this and earlier model that you have? Well it’s hard to tell on a cellphone BUT if Prores is giving so much more information than High quality then Prores has to be better, it’s like saying you can’t tell the difference between 4k & analog video.
