Cheers for the pattern and the tutorial. I printed it out & whipped it up in an afternoon thanks to your guidance. Instead of boning I cut the pattern ( minus seam allowances where applicable) out of some felt I had and sandwich it between the front & lining so it had it's own structure. It's gonna be the final touches on a witch costume for a party with my kids. In three days time and the fabric I used is like, with yours scraps from my kids dresses which will delight them for sure. Thanks again. X

You need to find the middle of that bottom line. The line that is on the right, next to a dart.

The reason you can see the zipper is because, you used the wrong one. Try the invisible zipper instead, with the invisible zipper foot. Also the zipper needs to match the color of the skirt, it will flow better and use a matching thread (green) The skirt looks great and I love camouflage ❤❤❤

I used an invisible zipper and I used a standard singer zipper foot to sew it. I also ironed the teeth of the zipper down, but it still came out the way it did. But thanks anyway.

Love this simplicity. I’m a little lost for cutting the pieces and adjusting for waist sizes. Will go hunt for a video but if you can explain that mechanism or logic I would greatly appreciate it. Tying to figure out how to do just this - see with instinct and scraps simply.
