Thanks for the video. Are you generating TikToks inside Canva or are you storing the output from another program there?

Love the content you’re sharing on youtube. Precise and helpful. Thanks! Could you or do you have a video on the various platforms for both content creation and/ or only networking? I did search but nothing came up. This i ask because of the changing social media landscape and well I am not really looking to start an Instagram account. Maybe other platforms. Would like to hear your take on them. Also, your point on determining social goals did help a lot with regard to this question. 4:17

I follow very few people on Instagram, content has become monotonous, a lot of people are pushing their politics, not what I signed up for. I’m on Insta less and less, for me it’s losing value. Too much negativity. I’m on for one minute or less.

I think that the main problem are the platforms- they are destroying art and completely going to miss the control of the situation, I mean creativity needs time, sometimes more sometimes les but comparing with the masterworks of the past like Leonardo davinci , Michelangelo, and others, did they created something twice a day or twice the week? No! Art and creativity and mostly quality needs timeeee! Platforms don’t care about art creativity and quality even if they say the opposite, they just want content every day so they can ad advertising and publicity, more people more content more money…so copy and paste hypes and trends, jumping and dancing on the bed like child’s, reactions videos and pranks and other low effort low quality content ist the best for them….just my opinion …. We need a complete breakout of this trend… just my opinion…… the new art is to pleasure the algorithm ,the new good….

That's great. It makes logical sense why a social graph was first used as people became comfortable with sharing personal details online for the first time and as people were lured into social networks making real connections with family and friends. It's a natural human behavior to look for likeminded people and groups when new 'civilizations' or communities are formed or even discovered. When a level of comfort was reached with people really sharing a lot about themselves, being transparent and completely authentic, after a wave of people showing only one side or their 'best' selves online, the next evolution (algorithm change) was for social networks to evolve to our layer of the "interest graph" as new communities and groups formed around interests and social platforms profit centers around interests, wants and needs. With this certain pattern recognition about people, communities and the need for people to feel connected and for social networks to evolve as communities evolve, and social platforms looking to control and profit, my questions now are: What would the next evolutions be for social networks? What new behaviors will we expect to see with the inclusion of artificial intelligence taking hold of online and offline realities for people and communities? Could we be looking at a blend of an 'Interest Graph' and a 'Context Graph' as start to move towards 'Edge Devices'. I'm nerding out totally but these are my questions now sharing the same sentiments as you do about a 'disconnection' happening as well as platform fatigue.

The original meaning of social media has long since been distorted and has become harmful and has ceased to fulfill its original role. Similarly- and probably- mainly (the biggest departure from its original purpose) Li, who has become a "bazaar of narcissists with an ego like Brazil with inversely proportional knowledge"

Hi! Your videos are very informative and you are great to listen to, so kudos! I'm writing a novel in which the main characters are deeply involved in social media, and as a complete novice (I'm the guy who's been living under a rock) I'm gaining valuable insight into Instagram particularly which is the main platform my characters use. I eventually want to market my novel on various platforms and your content is helping with that as well. So, thanks again and I look forward to more tutorials as you make them. Take care! Paol

Very insightful, thank you for posting this. I really hope the collective moves away from meta products for the sake of our humanity. They distorted our connections globally, and now there seems to be a vendetta against their workforce and especially women as well. It's so important for us to stay conscious of the so-called wizard behind every curtain.

I agree with a lot, but I do not agree with one specific thing! No one wants to watch a mom on her couch! Not after the last two years of women dying in parking lots!!! being a mom is an occupational hazard created by laws that go against the life of the mother! So no one wants to see that! no one wants to glamorize that. Even if you are blessed enough to become a mom, you are forced to know that at any moment you can be in poverty because you are a mom. No one’s gonna watch that shit! We did that already. It was called the random man Atlanta and no one wants to repeat of that shit. But you are right most people don’t comment or like even when they watch your stuff. Most interaction is not organic on here or the other forms of social media, but especially on here. I am one of the few people who like and comment on IG and on TikTok. I also repost. I also remix there. Today was the first day. I actually took it seriously on KZbin, but that’s because I remixed your sound because what you said in the beginning of your video resonated with me so much. it was unfortunate that you had to throw the mom stuff in there because that sounds like propaganda. None of us wanna have kids for our overseers! Plus, they’ve been spouting that mom on the couch with kids BS for over 10 years now. That is not 2025! that is literally why the real housewives of Orange County started and that was well over 20 years ago! First half of your video spot when we get to the mom part you just took me out. I just I felt rage! I’ve seen my friends as moms and they are wealthy and they said if anyone told them the truth about what being a mom was, they wouldn’t have done it so please don’t glamorize this shit! Men want to sire your kids they don’t wanna raise them! But you’re dead right about everything else and I’m sorry I’m ranting.

I just feel like social media is over saturated and it all looks the same so nothing really stands out, Instagram just looks like tiktok which just looks like shorts
@Annalovestheocean10 күн бұрын
It’s really bothering me how Instagram is making the platform more curtailed to short video content creators. Everything seems so fake, shallow & repetitive. I felt my brain rotting while using TikTok which is why I valued Instagram so much more, but they’re trying to become just that. I’m considering deleting it all together because it’s all adds & reels now. All about profit, influencers & followers as opposed to what every day people actually look for when they want to stay social online? Or maybe I’m wrong because many people say TikTok is their preferred platform style now but honestly I can’t stand it. I feel like I’m develop adhd & get a little bit dumber every time I scroll on that app.

I've been doing cleanouts since I've had social media accounts. For example, The Great Subscription Culling happens once a quarter on KZbin. Your channel popped up, and it's likely because I've actively been watching videos like this in the past few months. So, when did it start? Being born in the early 70s, it started when clickbait started. It continued when the marketing efforts on social media became indistinguishable from that of the commercial marketing I grew up with. Laughably, though, when you started talking about engagement, I scrolled down through the comments on this video. Lots of comments, sure, few replies, and none (at this time) from you as the creator. Paradox? Irony? Who can say, but engagement there is not. By this time, we all should know that when we, the viewers, comment, we are helping the algo do its thing; we're engaging, but all too often, the creator is not. But I'm what you would call "The Unique View(er)," chances are you'll get no subscription from me, and I'll likely not be interested in what you're selling (at the end of the video). If you, the creator, want to be authentic and be engaging, you need to engage with us, and not just through the video.

I think the problem is, that these platforms put quantity over quality. "You should post 3 times a day" and such crap. Creativity takes time. Creating something good and meaningful takes time. I do pottery and to produce one piece it takes several weeks to create, dry, fire, glaze, dry, fire again. I get content to post in waves (sometimes a lot, sometimes nothing). The platforms punish me for this. Plus, I have a lot of interests and I want to share them all. The platforms want me to find a niche but I do not want to be put in a niche, I want to share what I like. I get punished by the platforms not showing my stuff. It's draining and annoying.

Social media is made to be addictive & emotionally charged cause that’s what gets people engaged. Think people should just delete it all together, my therapist said HIMSELF that in 5-10 years, there will be studies on how it negatively affects mental health.
