That's just the character he's playing called Recon. It doesn't replace the Shovel, it's just Recon's secondary ability.

9:42 I found out that u dont need to finish all the enemies here to get an S Rank. Because the boss room uses Elites instead of actual bossbots u get kill credit. U only need a high B rank to achieve an S rank here so taking out like half of the enemies here and hoping into the safe room is more optimal

Once the new update comes out I think you need to make a tier list. Not of the playable characters or the weapons. No I want to see a tier list of which enemies are the most annoying to fight.

No CD on a maximum fire rate setup is criminal. Only time it's not is Gun Diet as that counts as a reload for CD...The credit card at the end just makes my soul hurt that you didn't take CD. That combination of items (CD and Credit Card) is the god combo. Especially with size matters and bag for when it does show up on a run.

Thought about it. Know nothing about it. Tried before, dimensions were awful. Decided to just forgo it all together. Besides, I don’t even know if it’s actually worth the effort. I do all of this myself and while it’s not particularly difficult, it is a bunch of busywork and a big time sink.

@@haderaxe Save yourself the time and use ai tools or other means or finding something that works. I first discovered Roboquest through a short video and subsequently found you through active searching for content. So might be worth it! Either way keep it up, love the uploads! :)

Collector. In order to unlock him you need to bring 3 crystal powders to him on the moon. He will be where the healbot is in between rooms.

In corrupted areas sometimes the heal bot will have a red cap worn sideways instead of the blue cap worn forward. Trying to interact to heal will make him deal 40% of your health in damage instead of healing you, but shooting him without interacting will make him drop a ton of healing cells. Can’t shoot him after interacting though.

Fire rate on the mantis bow works the same as reload speed on bows in D2, it speeds up the notching animation between shots.

The mantis bow is not a charge weapon, so yes, it works well with that. I assume you’re talking about when I took a fire rate increase early game when I still had hornet bow. At that point in the run, fire rate did very little because charge times are unaffected by firing rate.

Yeah, but that part is easily inconsequential. Most charge weapons actually work well with hourglass too I believe. It’s just not worth to prioritize fire rate on charger weapons over other things that can increase damage. Also, for this video. We took it because we were planning on dropping it for a mantis bow, which does benefit heavily from fire rate. Appreciate the support!

I did an engi run trying to do the bee cannon thing and I got the stone block at the very start, transformer toy from the Oasis, shock instead of fire, and the minion block which I upgraded cuz I'd lost hope for the bees. Then I got a crappy bee cannon out of like the third to last chest so I ran with the meeseeks box. And then I got ocarina right after. I was already melting everything before but the amount of minions on screen was ridiculous. Pretty sure I had the same base skills as you did just in a different order.

I did a run had buddy bot minion box family swarm plus the drone power up as well so I had a minimum of 10 helpers at all times 😂

Yeah I just did a run with a fantastic one (ricochet and freewheel I think) as Ranger and it *shredded* everything. Was a SSSSSASS run because silly me forgot to do a room in Haven 🤦♂️

How does tempo shot even work on beam weapons? Is it based on 4 ticks of damage that it activates the crit shot or does it change to a timer?

Fun fact about both hornet bow and shark sniper, they can be really good auto crit weapons. For one thing, both have the first prefix so Wild Rush go brrr if you want. But, they can both roll as explosive, so any character with lucky powder can use their auto crit SUPER well. This actually includes Ranger if you didn’t know, if you get the skill that makes your javelins blow up on stealth use, you can get lucky powder through it. Through some testing, I’ve also discovered that the explosions of the javelin proc Wild Rush so you can still go crazy with that. All that said, you can get 101% auto crit through just your skills, poppy, and the Lucky prefix. Build explained in comment

Build for ultimate explosive crit: Passives: Focus on focus points above everything, you need 26 focus points for it to work. Everything else from there is up to you. Supreme Crit: Eventually with upgrades and passives grants you 26% auto crit and bonus crit damage. Explosive Spike: +15% auto crit from lucky powder and decreases stealth cooldown by a lot. Wild Rush: Big damage boost and +20% auto crit eventually. Super useful. Anything: Seriously, last skill is up to you. I usually do Shadow Strike, but you can pick whatever. Weapon: Only needs Lucky and Explosive on it. So 90% of explosive weapons work with this build. Items: Poppy is all you need to seal the deal, everything else is just a damage boost. Math comes out to 101% auto crit (26+20+15+20+20). It’s dumb and currently my favorite Ranger build.

Concerning dig spots for all interested: There are a total of 3 spots in Canyons before the first safe room. None after. There is 1 spot in Fields. Those are all of the dig spots.

I swear some runs it doesn't matter what you do the game will merk you. I truly pisses me off honestly. I can still S run G4 reliably, but it's frustrating to lose literally 75 percent of your health within .5 seconds of entering a room. It happens ALL the time.

best charge weapon IMO is the meteor cannon, I strongly recommend it on engineer. the projectile is so large and bounces around so fast it can clear rooms insanely quickly, and engineer can get all elements to proc on it for extra damage synergies
