I think I will stick with the Dell Ultrasharp looks more robust but for the El Cheapo consumer this is the monitor for you

During the initial setup there is a pop up box on the screen that's asking me to select a language. I'm not seeing any buttons on the monitor itself (besides the power button) to select the language and my mouse doesn't appear to work either. Do you know how to select a language so I can make this box go away? Thanks!

If it's like other Dell monitors, there is probably a small joystick on the back (bottom right corner) of the monitor. You move the joystick to move the cursor, and press it in to select an option.

The price of a single 38" Ultrasharp vs 2x 32" monitors is virtually double. What do you suggest? 2x27s (or 32s) OR 1x 37.5" or even 49" ? I currently have a 34" Dell Ultrasharp but wrestling with the idea of switching to a two-monitor setup or a single ultrawide monitor. This is for mostly WfH type of stuff - and the occasional browsing (KZbin, Spotify, Gmail, etc.)

Hi, I'm very interested in purchasing this monitor, and I've found a tempting offer on the used market. I want to know if you still have it as your main monitor. There are very few reviews online, and it was discontinued by Dell after just two years of release, which is worrying. The specs seem to be good, although some argue that 101 ppi is too low for a 30" screen. What do you think? I hope you can answer me. Thanks.

How can i change the dpi setting for this mouse in case of MacOS? As dell peripheral manager is not supported on MacOS. If I'm not able to change then what is the default dpi setting which comes with mouse.

Got the same Dell S-series, except it’s 1080P instead of 1440P (2K). It’s model# S-2725HS, H standing for FHD versus your’s being QHD. Everything else is the same. Same great 5W dual speakers which really do sound good, compared to the tinny 3W speakers that all other monitors with speakers seem to use. I got it on sale at a local computer store for just $99.95, almost half off. Can’t complain! Video and pictures look beautiful, text can show pixels if eyes are close to screen, but no problem if eyes are normal distance (2 1/2 to 3 feet) from screen. Also can adjust scaling if text is an issue. Honestly I’d probably go with QHD or 1440 like you have if there had been a similar sale, but I find doing spreadsheet work is perfectly fine when using my new M4 Mac Mini. Really quite satisfied, especially at the price I paid!

Great question and really depends on what brand you like! As a user and a Dell employee currently I am still using the Dell speakerphone everyday! I still prefer a headset though for all my customer meetings! My anker died after two years of daily use! I am sure they can last longer but that is my experience!

Thanks Jess, I browsed the headphone link on the website and this is what I found: (The USB charging cable can function as an audio cable if it is connected to the Jabra headset and a computer.) In this case, I can connect the charging cable as an audio cable. Perhaps this is a new feature they added in the software.

Yes! I think the focus for the ultrasharps are screen quality over everything else! The S series though has really good speakers! I use that for my personal set up! I find the Dell speakerphone is not great for music
