Bought Mecca on vinyl for a pound while I was at University in Chester and still have it. Still listen to it today. In fact I'd like the lyrics of Joyride to be my epitaph: 'Let's take a ride into the night, because we're travelling light.' Agree with previous comments about the singer on the Mecca album; much better suited to the songs.

Just fabulous. Great fun but educational at the same time. What a pity that children in the 21st century are only subjected to violent, aggressive and (usually) American rubbish. Bring this, and all the other classic 1970s children’s programmes back and let’s return to civility and pleasantness again.

II am rewatching all of them to cheer me up. As an adult, I see a different side of the Stories. Inclusion, cooperation, etc..... I saw a documentary about Oliver he made so many wonderful Children's Progrannes, another favourate of mine was Ivor the Engine, I attribute my dragon fascination to that lol.
