I just purchased one of these yesterday. Do you recommend a different air box than what is on it. Mine did not come with one and I’m having trouble finding one anyway. Thanks in advance

Right off the bat. Definitely well used. The fenders should have stickers. And the bars are not stock. But. It's awesome. And if it's in really good shape for its age then amazing. The metal fake tanks are hard to find. I just picked up an 18 year old " new old stock" on about a month ago. Already have a dirt bike engine in it. Great little machines!

Starting to put maxxam back together. Painted With matching blue. Took it completely apart and cleaned all rusty nuts and bolts. Began to start re-assembly and found crack in engine case. Any recommendations on amazon or ebay engines? Thanks

@dannyrobinson9351 oh man, that stinks. I have no experience purchasing new motors, but I would look to pick up a doner kart and rebuild that engine. May be cheaper, and you would have some spare parts. Just what I would do, not for everyone.

Nobody makes them anymore, and they are rare. But if you kept an eye on marketplace, offer up, and craigslist.org, you may get lucky.

Sure, it's a Blade 150 that I put a cn250 engine on. It looks to me to be the same as the Dazon Raider. Probably a sister factory in China.

Got to get into the reverse box and make sure the shifter fork is going back and forth smoothly. I would start there. Also, inspect the gears for any damage.

I don't think they are still produced, you would have to get a hold of a used engine, and rebuild it if necessary.

I think I have a Dazon Raider 200. What engine is it. I'm thinking GY6.

Is it water cooled? If its a Dazon Raider, and it's not water cooled, it would be a 150cc gy6 engine. They are great engines, with almost 10hp.

I'd add A little bit of some 10W 40 weight wet clutch motor oil mixed with some Lucas transmission fix with stop leak inside of it. Of riding it with mixed together inside of it for A little while. As A flush and lubricating treatment process procedure. Then I'd drain it out and add in STP bars stop leak with your regular wet clutch motor oil for ATV'S and UTV'S clutch applications and oil changes with new oil filter.,or filters some have two oil filters on them out now to. Inside of the side cover of the crankcase and one that screws on to the oil filter replacement spout on OHV engines not all of them will have dual.,or should I say two oil filters on them all of the time. Every now and then enbetween times of working on.,or replacing and making repairs to and on them as we'll.

Our theory is there was grease in the variator that came from the factory that should not be there. The owner cleaned it out, and we will try again.
