I appreciate you making this video. But I have never started a video where I enjoyed it for a little, then slowly starting to truly hate the presenter. I don’t know how you start off being a real person talking about books and King. Then by the end of the second video you are doing your best impression of every hipster faux Book critic. You put the work in, and I respect the hell out of that. But damn sir you can take things for what they are sometimes. Not everything has to be deeper than what it presents itself to be.

If you're going on KZbin videos talking about how you hate the person doing them, then you should probably get off social media and go talk to a therapist. I'm sorry my video so terribly affected your fragile mind. Feel free to not watch, and seek help before you end up hurting those you "love."

I like your list because it is honest. I think people feel like they have to rank some SK books highly because they are classics. You didn’t have an obvious top 25. I think about Revival more than any other SK book I have read, so I was glad to see that one made your top 10. It is in mine too, but I still have several books to get through.

I dunno, as for opening lines… I stopped reading King in 95 at age 16… and some of those lines just randomly stick forever (e.g. injun bring my fish); for me it’s “Jack Torrance thought: “Officious little prick.” 😂

A great favorite of my family. The funniest includes the Market Snodsbury Grammar School Closing Exercises. Bertie Wooster and his friend, Gussie Finknottle. I can't remember the name of the book. Maybe "What Ho, Jeeves"? Also highly recommend the Blandings Castle series with Lord Emsworth. " Emsworth can't possibly have forgotten that! There's no limit to what Emsworth can forget." 🇺🇸

I agree. I think we all have a book in our own top 10 list that would surprise everyone. My #2 is Black House. A lot of people don’t like it and I don’t get it. It has some of Kings best characters and such a great villain. King and Straub worked so well together. I put Insomnia in my top 10 as well. Such a great read.
@allthatremainsx64 ай бұрын
i did not enjoy the writing style at all. and the villain was good, until the final showdown was less than half a page. so anticlimactic.

Hey man! That was a long watch! 😂 And I enjoyed every minute of it. Can’t agree on every book placement, but I have to say it’s a fair and very knowledgeable ranking (I haven’t read them all, and some I never will). I’m appreciate you’re not apologetic on your choices, some of the rankings i’ve seen spend more time back stepping than actually speaking about the books). About the misses: Would you consider a SK book: the comic Omnibus American Vampire? It will probably be on the back end of your list. Your list made me want to reread some of them, and give Revival a chance. Thank you, and i’ll keep watching.
