Beautiful coins. Will try to stop by the booth at ANA.

I have an 1818 in about the shape of your 1815, but it's cleaned. I also have an 1819, large 9 variety, in VG damaged condition. They were both affordable for me and probably worth more now than I paid for them pre-covid.

i liked every one of them. Excellent set.

Thank you for the video. What is the name of the book? Great looking and the first time I have heard the term "Circulation Cameo" 👍

Very nice set! I've always gone for that sort of look when looking for coins for my collection as well. My open-collar capped bust quarter type is an 1818/5 25C in PCGSF15 that's nice. I haven't sent any of mine to CAC though.

The only two large size capped bust quarters I have are 1818 NGC VF -30 And as well as 1819"RAW" As far as the 1819 coin is concerned, much better than the other one that was graded, probably a EF-45 and for two reasons why I don't send that one out for grading.. #1 I have the coin in my uncertified collection. 2, I would not want to pay for grading and have it come back "details" even though the coin looks pretty nice in my opinion.. Note: Also in regards to the same coin,(1819), after close examination of the reverse by the 25C. denomination there is clearly a repunch of the entire 25C ! You can see this clearly and again this is on the 1819, small letters quarter. I would like some comment about this variety and how many varieties are there for 1819?? Thanks for your video

I doubt it will CAC. Would love to see if it does or not. Good luck.
@chrisblackburn-hj4lf9 күн бұрын
You’re gonna charge CAC prices, because you think it might CAC.
@siliconvalleycoins599 күн бұрын
in this case, given the uncertainty and what i grade, yes. It would be on approval so someone could make their own call. The coin doesn't change.

That 1795 penny is absolutely a PRETTY PENNY! These old copper's are among my favorites although preservation is a very important thing for copper coins... I have an amazing 1795 of this what seems to be the same variety Although the coin isn't AU Graded VF-35 by pcgs What's so amazing about this is the coin was struck three times. First two strikes with two hats on the reverse then was flipped over and struck a third time just a little off center! I was lucky to pick up this coin from eBay for around 5K. I'm not sure what the overall value is now but this one is truly an amazing early mint error and I have this piece in my collection now forever ♾️!

@Kenlydford2 ай бұрын
@@swilliams937 I agree:) You know what’s cool, I just recently was handed back change at a grocery store with a 1899 one cent Indian. The eye appeal was lacking but that was a first for me. 😊

Very cool, Ken. I've never been handed one in change so far. I once found a good 1897 in a penny roll when working in retail twenty years ago. That was fun to swap out. Still have it!
