Thank you for your interest! This is a punching bag I invented using recycled tires. It’s durable and perfect for training while also being eco-friendly. Does that sound good to you?

Wow I’ve never really heard of Kun Khmer before, what’s the difference between Kun Khmer and Muay Thai?

Kun Khmer is a traditional Cambodian martial art, while Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand. Both are similar in style as they use strikes with fists, elbows, knees, and kicks, but Kun Khmer has a deeper history linked to the Angkor Empire. The techniques and fighting strategies might look alike, but Kun Khmer has its own distinct rhythm and training methods. It's great to see more people interested in learning about it!

@@vuthykunkhmervlog Yeah I did a little research and figured out that the art has a whole lot of history behind it, even the kickboxing art found today. There’s over 20 elbow techniques you can use! As well as a whole lot of other techniques! I guess you could say that while Muay Thai is practiced more as just a sport and not really a pure martial art, Kun Khmer tends to focus less on being a sport in comparison to Muay Thai and tends to focus on staying true to its traditional roots, hence why a lot of techniques that are used in Kun Khmer Boran can still be seen being used today in the ring!

That's amazing! It’s great that you’ve done your research and appreciate the rich history behind Kun Khmer. You're right, the focus on traditional roots is what sets it apart. The variety of techniques, especially with elbows, makes it a truly unique martial art. It’s awesome to see how Kun Khmer Boran still influences modern fighting styles today. Thank you for sharing your insights!
