Can you tidy up a bit, it makes working much easier and more enjoyable? And you’ll find sawing etc much more accurate if you clamp your work properly. Keep up the great work.

The gluing turned out really well. The seams fit great!

Oh, and it really makes sense about that transverse brace-how the ends need to stay thick while the middle can be thinner.

Those sides turned out really good. I like how you soaked the pieces first.

Phil, at first we thought you had changed the shape of the top with those two bulges! But then you explained and we were relieved! Is the top spruce?
@PhilsGuitarProjectsАй бұрын
Yes the top is sikka spruce

The bracing looks good, and those go-bars really hold. Are they rubber-tipped?
@PhilsGuitarProjectsАй бұрын
Yes they have rubber tip, to prevent marking or slipping

You could have used some alining pegs and/or turned the neck over to align the fretboard.
@PhilsGuitarProjectsАй бұрын
Yes I have seen people use pins, but putting the neck on the fretboard is probably a better idea with the way I am working and that didn't occur to me 😞

I can’t help noticing, when you are using a chisel, you keep wiggling it, this appears to be because your chisels are not sharp enough. What do you think?
@PhilsGuitarProjectsАй бұрын
Some times wiggling the chisel allows more control especially when the grain in not in a cooperative direction, but yes some time the chisel is not sharp enough, I must get better a sharpening tools 🙂

I’m enjoying your videos, however you look as though you need to sharpen your tools.

Your probably right, I don't sharpen them enough. must do better.
