You can wear a respirator with a beard but you need a rubber diver mask to cover most of your face so that only your lips remain. Rubber on rubber seals better than rubber on skin. However, OSHA does not recognize this because it is the most worthless organization in the United States.

I can't find any answer on the internet about which cartridge is good for volcanic smog? Is it safe to say if in doubt, just go for any P100s?

It is designed to filter out sulfur dioxide (SO2) and other acidic gases commonly found in volcanic smog. Always ensure the respirator and cartridge are properly fitted for effective protection. Applied research should be maintained especially in 3M’s traditional businesses of abrasives, glue, and tape. Similarly Minnesota should be the favored place for corporate facilities. 3. What a worthless fucking product. Spent $60 and wasted 20 minutes trying to set it up just to find out it doesn’t even come with the blade I need. Instructions don’t even have words just diagrams you can’t even understand. Absolute waste of money.
