The Pain-Body is so beautiful. I get goosebumps every time it builds and reaches the sax(?) part.

Do you like underoath
@Fire-Toolz17 күн бұрын
i mostly love their 2nd and 3rd album. but i also like define the great line a decent amount because it rips off the classic norma jean sound, and i just like bands like that lol. i got to play with underoath once, and see them a 3-4 times, when they were touring on the changing of times. when dallas was on vocals. i actually don't think i ever saw them after that, so i have never seen spencer live besides when he was in his old band, this runs through. i played with them as well at some church in annapolis, md. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnq6pqeZrqaXiMksi=MIDF3dAu91zaLSEh) the last time i saw underoath, octavio was still in the band, and i bought a 4x12 guitar cab off of him. or...wait. did i sell him MY cab? shit...i cannot remember. it was so fucking long ago. i've just bought and sold so many guitar cabs over the years. i am like 78% sure it was me who bought his cab.

dang I'm terminally distracted and forgot to submit a question. idk much about death members either but Steve DiGiorgio's fretless bass on individual thought patterns was a real eye-opener for me! that crazy tone and how he wasn't just playing the guitar line an octave down but rather really engaging with the music.

I've been a fan of Mindspring Memories for a while, but this is what inspired me to take the leap and get into analog electronics and circuit bending. I'd really love to make something like this myself
@Fire-Toolz13 күн бұрын
That's awesome! I didn't make this video, so it wasn't me doing the visuals, but I've done tons of circuit bending with guitar pedals and toys and stuff! I always wanted to get into the analog video stuff but just haven't had the time.

What would you call this genre?

there are a lot of genres here. experimental, noise/harsh noise, slam, cybergrind, noisecore, noise rock, ambient, spoken word, industrial...maybe some others

this song came out in i think 2016 or maybe 2017, & the web 2.0 glossy aesthetic emerged in the early 00s! but maybe you are joking & i'm not picking up on that
@AvatarNeo2 ай бұрын
@@Fire-Toolz It emerged in the 00s, but people only started categorizing and thinking about it in the 2020s, so it's neat to see something use the aesthetic before it was really a thing

Fuck-to-the-YES for this video (getting this Danny Gomez art feel and adoring it!). The music pairs perfectly with the very emotionally honest introspection in the lyrics. This falls so far outside any expectations it cannot help but expand horizons with every new Eureka moment captured herein. Love this stuff!😊

This is the first Fire-Toolz album I heard and I was delighted to see that not only did these tracks have a video but it was in fact this. This aesthetic blend of kind of like Fruitiger Aero, L.J. Altvater type peychedelic vision (this video and also your album covers) and PS1 graphics is sublime, as well as the vocal delivery and the proficient composition. Super looking forward to check out more of your catalog plus also I think it's really cool on a personal level that you personally respond to the comments here as much as you do! Pleasure to have made this discovery 😊
@Fire-Toolz2 ай бұрын
thank you thank you! to be honest, if the comments ever become like constant & potentially overbearing, i won't be responding to all of them. but for right now my fanbase is small enough to where it's not that difficult for me to pop in & talk to some peeps
