My experience in general when the winds get gustier the better the fishing. When the water is clear and you can see the smaller fish and the bottom it's bad. Also when its too hot i guess the water has less oxygen. I remember one day i saw the waves were pretty big and thought o well nothing is gonna happen but started to get some bites. From that day i only go fishing when the day is gusty and cool at the pier. I believe the hot temperature does affect fishing.

Your wind theory is interesting. Last year, the water in the Indian River lagoon got so hot it caused a massive fish kill. That definitely supports your theory about oxygen levels.

So we will be coming in the middle of September. How is the fishing and weather? And would you recommend fishing for beginner there at the jetty?
@SebastianInletFishing
@SebastianInletFishing 6 күн бұрын
The month of September has great fishing, there's an abundance of bait and fish. As long as you can cast a line, follow the jetty's rules, and have a fishing license, you should be all set to fish there as a beginner. Jetty fishing requires a circle net to hoist your catch; retrieving it directly from the rod and reel might be difficult.

Earlier today, we visited the Sebastian Inlet and found a number of anglers reporting slow fishing. While the bite might be slow right now, the tide is turning, and the fishing should improve later in the day. 🐟

@@aqazesyco This weekend looks good for fishing, but watch out for afternoon thunderstorms. The National Weather Service warns of heat index values reaching 103. Stay hydrated and wear sun protection when visiting Sebastian Inlet. ✅

Well... just about time fishing improves at the inlet the growing common county raw sewage spills will wipe out lagoon and inlet fishing for months. Then no doubt hurricane season will push fish out of the lagoon and inlet to far offshore. Wake me up next year to talk inlet fishing. Oh... but wait then the new inlet bridge construction begins and wipes out fishing for close to 3 years. Lets talk inlet fishing in say about 4 years. I'm a realist not a dreamer when it comes to Sebastian Inlet fishing. 🤔

We will be visiting Sebastian in the middle of September. Can you recommend places to go for beginners any peers and that are handicap accessible, And can you fish off the beaches there? Thank you.
@SebastianInletFishing
@SebastianInletFishing Ай бұрын
Hello! Sebastian offers a variety of fishing spots. You can visit the Twin Piers at Riverview Park or the dock at Main Street Boat Ramp; both are handicap accessible. Alternatively, you might enjoy fishing around the Wabasso Causeway near the CR-510 bridge on the way to Wabasso Beach, which also offers a lot of shade! However, for the best fishing experience, head to Sebastian Inlet. You can fish right off the beaches there! Sebastian Inlet State Park provides beach access both north and south of the inlet, and there are other public beaches too. My personal favorite is the beach on the south side of Sebastian Inlet State Park. The north side has swimmers and a lot of surfers. The south just seems to be a better fishing spot. It's going to be HOT in September, so make sure you bring beach umbrellas for shade.

Yes! Florida residents age 65 or older only need a Florida Driver License or Identification Card to prove residency and age. They are not required to purchase the following recreational licenses and permits: Saltwater fishing, freshwater fishing and hunting licenses.

All the info was correct but u did say one thing that was incorrect. The 'november 30th' part was wrong. Its sept 1 to dec 14 in the irl region. The fwc lititure u put in vid of the closed seasons is correct but your voice over on the open was incorrect. Not trying to be mean. Just pointing out a mistake cause its important. Everything else was spot on. Thx
