What an amazing story.

I don't know whether you're still working for MIT, but my niece wasn't given a note-taker when she asked for one. MIT has removed her from her course, making her sign a withdrawal. The same has happened to another student, while a different student has been transferred to the following semester. What do they have in common? All have a disability or learning difficulty. They were also in a health studies course that apparently preaches about not discriminating against those with disabilities. At the beginning of the semester, my neice saw the disability services team and provided them with back up information of her challenges (documentation from her doctor).
