I was excited to have this. Noa i have it but it is no better than the one i had before. Always tells me prpbe and cutter not at same height but they are amd after keys are cut, a lot of burrs on them so they cannot even enter the lock

The smooth operator started to work intermittently within about 9 months of purchase. Now after about a further 3 months it seems to have lost its programing as it no longer works. I have yet to find a reliable modern remote.

this key write failed! i was trying to add a key with these instructions. Now my 2011 x5 ignition is not functioning. i get a message saying "ECU upgrade failed. please use special function: istap version repair". any advice on how to get the ignition back working? i had 2 keys with dead batteries, now i have none working and the car wont lock. I can confirm this worked on my 2011 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner V6 SR5. The previous owner claims that the truck didn’t have any remotes, but I found it had the receiver behind the glovebox! It should have come with remotes! So I wanted to de-program or delete them from memory. The one “G” smartkey I have still works to start the vehicle manually.
