I've had the master tapes for his album (if there was one)for many years but the tape was unmarked and I didn't know who it was. Maybe he only got a single out on this track? He must have had some connection to Hank Snow. Yes. Incredible voice.

Fame and fortune wouldn't bring me any real happiness. Loving and being loved does in my opinion. Beautiful song, sung by a great artist.❤️

First recorded in 1959 by Bob Beckham 1959 #32 US Pop, then a UK only release by Nat King Cole #18 UK Pop, then 1967 by Bobby Vinton #24 US Pop #10 US AC. Her version did not get enough attention to chart nationally when released more of a regional hit. Her biggest hit was "For The Love Of Him" 1970 #13 US Pop #1 US AC

Met Lee Frazier at the original studios in the mid-sixties. Very nice guy. Wish I could thank him today. I was just 17 then.

I can remember listening to Lee on WHIM FM 94.1 nights when I was a kid. I called him a few times to request songs, he was always very polite and kind and he always played what I asked him to if he could find it. Those were different times, better times:)

I met Lee Frasier at the WHIM studio dung the late 70s when I was doing overnight transmitter work On the WBRU-FM transmitter. At that time WBRU-FM 9.5.5 FM transmitter was co located with the WHJY 94.1 FM transmitter at the WHIM/HJY studio on Eastern Ave in East Providence. The two FM stations shared an antenna via a Diplexer. At that time the WHIM/HJY was owned by John Franks and the CE was Pappy Philbrick.

@@Nosix88 Yes, old Pappy Philbrook kept things running over there for many years. He had his own show on mornings from 6-10 in the late 60s, early 70's spinning country hits with the area's first ever traffic copter piloted by Captain Jack!

‪Everyone should hear this beautiful song from Sonny Curtis’s 1st record, “I Wanna Go Bummin' Around”! Why hasn’t it ever been re-released?! I’m looking at you, Clint Eastwood (it was on Clint’s Viva label). Quit yelling at chairs & have someone call someone at Warners! ‬ Both of Sonny Curtis’ Viva records would make great Record Store Day reissues. Can someone get on this while the legendary Sonny Curtis is still with us? How do you get a message to the music business?

Thanks to Dick Allen, Dan Williams, Jeff Davis, Charlie Huddle, Tom Paolino, Paul MacArthur, Diane Flynn, John Parente, Mike Sheridan, Ray Dalton & everyone else!
