Sometimes I forget it was as new and strange to me at one time. It was fun to see you experience this new venture and capture it on video. You will see how quickly you will advance and this will be fun to watch later on... and you will learn a lot more from watching yourself than just being instructed. Also, a simple carburetor adjustment is all you need to keep it from dying out on you.

Introspection is good, and there is a lot of wisdom in this video. I agree as humans we can change almost anything about ourselves. Too many spend time trying to change others. I believe happiness comes and goes, but joy is from God and it's always available to us. Contentment must come from within, your right. There is someone in my life who may think they have lost their entire family but I have always been there for them. We are not designed to live in isolation, but there are some relationships that are toxic, cause pain, drain you. Let those go. Love you and your videos.

Of course, there are many ways we can seek comfort that is not healthy for us. I just mentioned a few. I forgot to add that boundaries are so important to know where your control ends. As always, take what is applicable to you and leave the rest 💜 thanks so much for watching.

If want to make the baked goods taste sweeter, then I recommend adding minced dried fruit would be good. For example, crushed dried apples, crushed dried pears, minced dried apricots, raisins, or dried plums.
@samuelmuldoon48392 ай бұрын
At 6:58 you mentioned chocolate chips. I recommend cooked carob beans instead of chocolate chips. Carob trees grow well where in places where it snows in winter. Cacao) dies in snowy weather. Transporting cacao to places with snow creates extra carbon dioxide emissions and contributes to global warming. Certain species of carob beans are edible and taste like chocolate. Dog treats sometimes contain carob beans.
@HonorTheRoots2 ай бұрын
You've got some great suggestions. I've never heard of carob beans before, but I will definitely check it out! I also had not seen anyone boil the seeds, so that could be an interesting experiment.
@samuelmuldoon48392 ай бұрын
Grinding seeds into flour is hard work. Why not simply boil the seeds as if the seeds were noodles or pasta or spaghetti. Pour in a sieve after boiling. Plate the seeds with tomato sauce on top with garlic.
@samuelmuldoon48392 ай бұрын
I was taught the phrase "threshing the seeds". It is interesting that you say "turning the seeds". It is possible to put the curly dock plants on a canvas tarp, fold the canvas tarp in half, so that the seeds are not visible. Then drive car at low speed back and forth over the canvas tarp. Then roll the car or truck off of the tarp. After that, unfold the tarp. The seeds will have mostly fallen off of the stem.

It is considerably cooler near the creek. It runs west to east, so it has a nice breeze, and the shade between the two mountains is such a haven on these humid days.

What a great video and channel. Of course I subscribe because I forage the Ozarks too ( southern Missouri) I didn't this spring and summer because of those seed tocks you mentioned. They gave me lyme disease this spring. Im recovering but not going in the woods until the ticks are gone. God bless 🙏 AThanks for sharing ❣️

Never seen that flower before. Pretty cool looking imo. How did you brew the tea? What parts? Did you use the whole flower? Are ther roots something one can consume as well?
@HonorTheRoots3 ай бұрын
It's a really neat looking vine for sure! I brewed the leaves and flowers for 5-15 minutes, then added a little honey and lemon. The only thing I've seen about the roots is it could be made into a medicinal poltice, but most people want to eat the passionflower fruit 💜
