Genuine question, in America is 20 counties seen as a large amount to travel to?
@PatrickParker19 күн бұрын
Hi! I think it depends on who you ask. I know many people who have never left the US. Many people tend to travel to other states in the US, others might have a vacation home or camper in the mountains or at the beach. For me, 20 is a lot because I tend to do a deep dive into one place and really try to understand the culture. For example, I've been to France about ten times now. I lived in Germany. Etc. I could have gone to more but I have generally taken my time to really try to get to know a place :). I do know that some of my neighbors here in Norway have been to around the same amount of countries without trying so hard, because it is relatively cheap and easy to travel to euro countries from here as compared to leaving the US and flying over an ocean :).

The swastika is and has been a Hindu symbol for centuries...the nazi haukenkraus is incorrectly referred to as swastika...some academics in the past mainstreamed this language to tie nazism to Hinduism which has no connection

The one thing a foreigner should avoid when visiting india. Never generalise based on your example experience. The next example could itself go completely wrong to your judgement 😅 just enjoy the highs and lows like you ride a wave, - surfing. . And yes : forget all the learnings about India , you already had from your country before visiting.. it's "start" all over again 😅😅..india is unique ❤

11:25 I am bothered by Indians excited to push down our food onto foreigners. They may or may not like it, or not enjoy the food from what they consume regularly. - At least keep a chipotle sauce bottle, prepare a Thethca/ peanut nutty mix over a Potato Patty to serve with a Bun etc. - Imagine We eat Naan/ Dosa and a foreigner feeds us with sweet pancake like rice/ wheat flour based brunch for a week..many 50+ men would won't gulp it down their throat and this is what some 30-40 yrs age people would do too.

O ROMA FELIX! ROMA SEMPER FIDELIS. ROMA, CAPUT MUNDI ET ECCLESIAE. | O HAPPY ROME! ROME ALWAYS FAITHFUL. ROME, THE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD AND OF THE CHURCH. ❤️❤️❤️
@PatrickParker5 ай бұрын
Rome gets its name from its legendary founder, Romulus. According to Roman mythology, Romulus and his twin brother Remus were abandoned as infants and raised by a she-wolf. As adults, they decided to establish a city near the site where they had been rescued. However, a dispute arose between the brothers over who would rule the new settlement. In the ensuing conflict, Romulus killed Remus and became the sole ruler of the city, which he named "Roma" after himself. Also, a really cool quote about water from da Vinci I came across while in Rome (a city of water fountains!): “Water is sometimes sharp and sometimes strong, sometimes acid and sometimes bitter, sometimes sweet and sometimes thick or thin, sometimes it is seen bringing hurt or pestilence, sometime health-giving, sometimes poisonous. It suffers change into as many natures as are the different places through which it passes. And as the mirror changes with the color of its subject, so it alters with the nature of the place, becoming noisome, laxative, astringent, sulfurous, salty, incarnadined, mournful, raging, angry, red, yellow, green, black, blue, greasy, fat or slim. Sometimes it starts a conflagration, sometimes it extinguishes one; is warm and is cold, carries away or sets down, hollows out or builds up, tears or establishes, fills or empties, raises itself or burrows down, speeds or is still; is the cause at times of life or death, or increase or privation, nourishes at times and at others does the contrary; at times has a tang, at times is without savor, sometimes submerging the valleys with great floods. In time and with water, everything changes.”

Temple food is satisfying because it is served after offering to the God. The best food I have tested is not in any five star hotel but it is temple prasad.

As an American living in India I can honestly say that I did not personally know anything about India before I came here!!! Now living here in India with my wife and 4 kids I realize how little I thought about broadening my perspective on other countries and cultures! We have been living here in India for a little while and we are learning new things every single day! We love it here in Bharat!!!
