Milky spore really works after a couple applications to get rid of japanese beetles. I noticed a big drop off the following year but still have some so have reapplied a couple years later. I read that it doesn't work on other grubs so I'm thinking it will ony work if the moles are eating japanese beetles. Voles don't eat grubs so Milky Spore won't work with Voles.

Great info, thank you. I live in Houston, Tx. Do ALL grubs come from Japanese beetles? I just wondered if these products will work on grubs in ALL regions?

I would propagate that one pole branch....i would have gone down to the roots for it it. Most of the crepes have roots right after the dirt level.

Hi there! Thanks for the info. I bought 2 lvery large potted mums, and they split down the middle at the time I watered them. I watched it happen so the theory that a cat sat down in them doesn't hold true in my instance. How can I get the split out? They came with a mesh in them and when I pull ut upward from the center it works to bring them back together. My husband is considering putting a stake in the center and attaching the mesh to it. Not aure if that will work? They are blooming beautifully but the split is an eyesore. Help please😊 ps. I live in the sandhills of NC and they get full sun. I also repotted them in a slightly larger pot hooing that would give the roots more expansion space and as a result the mums would come back together!

Still can’t find ingredient lists or breakdown of nitrogen phosphorus and potassium percentages much less the process they use to make their “batches”. This just ends up feeling like another pretty Instagram product out to make a buck by saying organic 3 times a sentence. I love organics but I hate greenwashing for a buck. If this is truly a compost tea they need to be more forthcoming about what that process looks like because these are some snake oil prices and sales gimmicks. Also - floride does not evaporate. Less wooo, fewer pretty pictures, more science please.

I really hate my pink Crepe Myrtle that has grown in my yard for over 30 years. I have trimmed it and never did the 'crepe murder' on it, but think I need it gone from my yard. How may I remove it?

Please make your own hummingbird nectar. 4 cups boiled water 1 cup white granulated sugar Do not use raw or organic sugar, it contains iron Bring water to a boil, remove from heat, add sugar, stir very well & let cool Do not use red dye or store bought nectar. Please clean every 1-3 days. Do not add anything else. Nectar can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week. Never let your feeder become cloudy or moldy, bacteria and mold will kill. Always keep clean.

A few roots of my large Natchez were cut for a sprinkler repair. Now I have mini trees from all those areas. If I cut under the soil and bury them, will they stop?! My chickens dig and nap in this area, so I haven't bothered trying to cut and cover yet. I'll have to block them off from the area, obviously. Thoughts?

I agree. I've tried many feeders and now the only one I use is the High perch hummingbird feeder. Why? Because it's easy to clean and the hummers have a place to rest on it. Keep it simple!

Thank you for this film. My problem Crape Myrtle is that it is a lollipop. One single long trunk topped by a wide arch of branches. The trunk is only about N inch and a half and it seems the dense foliage on top may be too heavy for t It. I definitely would have preferred a multi trunks tree but this is what was planted by the landscaper. Should I allow a sucker that appears to be coming from the ground (it’s about an inch from the truck to continue to grow for visual interest? And are there any tips for how to prune the top of the tree? It’s about 11 feet tall.
