Maya broadened the American public’s imagination about what public space and public art could mean. I so deeply admire her.

Loved learning about him in art school years ago. Absolutely unbelievable the level of work and detail involved in the film series in particular. The scale of the project is unreal, Barney’s faith in his vision is so inspiring.

I remember watching the entire Cremaster series over 3 days in a local cinema and loved every second. Not for everyone, as half the audience left after 30 minutes. I see this work as closely related to performance art more than film. Drawing Restraints 9 with Bjork is also great and I would love to see the most recent works!

If I was a kid I would have disagreed with you and then when I got older I found myself going back to art when I was a kid and redoing it bc it could have been better
@emmelsmusic792 күн бұрын
@mrredbanks8342 lol, my daughter does the same. Just remember though, you are not the same artist as you were then. You have different eyes, different feelings, different experiences. Each piece is a standalone, regardless of if one was inspired by the other. 🌷

Same old meaningless nonsense garbage from a talentless, alleged sculptor and obvious joke of a filmmaker. His work means nothing without the word salad of BS he attaches to it and is a waste of natural resources

I believe her work communicates comfortability in restriction. We all started life in a small space. It makes sense that we would find comfort in small spaces.

Absolutely wonderful. If you are a real artist, then your life is a work of art. The reason I love this artist's work is that she is not trying to make shit for you to put on your empty walls. This takes real dedication, to say, "this is exactly who I am."
