I will say this, these are the absolute best cars, when they have great intelligent and knowledgeable owners. The stock Dohc Saturn engine won't die and instead will only get reduced by whatever their owner does to it. Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. But hey, don't listen to me, I am just a backyard mechanic for both this model Dohc and the later model(2002). Do your research on this engine, otherwise you will be about as useful as a monkey with a wrench. Learn the engine. Otherwise you only really have guesswork as to what should or shouldn't be.

And now i'm a computer science undergraduate and do my all academic stuff on that laptop(with some storage and ram upgrade). when i saw this video its got me back to my childhood and remembering me the feelings that i've got while unboxing my first ever pc/laptop and my dad. I just use a reusable billet oil filter that has a 1" hex on the bottom. Solved. In your case, I would use a 1" socket with a 150mm extension bar. I wish the 1" was a 25mm, then I would not have to use any imperial sockets, ever.
