It may be notable that becoming an unholy assassin isn't the only option to open the door to Orin's hideout. Slaughtering the tribunal is an alternative the door considers acceptable. You loot the amulet from dead Sarevok. For a "good person" run this is the way more viable option. And there is a third: shooting at one of the corpses hanging from the ceiling in front of the door. Notice the stone circle in front of the door? When blood drips on it, the door will open.

There are light panels in each of the vents… before each segment. Just stick in the vents n look around n turn off your light.

On PC, I tried the "put windows to sleep" trick, which did allow me to play offline, but then the next time I started the game it reset all my offline progress. So looks like on PC we have to wait for official support. Or perhaps I'm just doing it wrong...

But why didn't they give us the option to play with bots from day one? Just give me a button to play my own game the way I want and progress at my own pace without some screeching belgian teenager in my ear. And I would understand it if they actually didn't code AI teammates at all... but THEY DID. They may not be as good as a real team of actual players working together, but for all of us who don't have a team and are forced to play with randoms, I'd rather play with the bots ALWAYS. I wanted to like Space Marine 2. Turns out I don't. Such an infuriating game with long load times and all kinds of annoying crap in it; especially this nonsense.

Yeah, I saw people say that other places as well. I have stopped playing this game. The single player campaign is okay-ish, except you are very limited as you only play as Titus, and the jetpack missions are absolutely awful. I am not playing anymore. If they add a private option, so I can play and replay the different PVE operations with bots, I might give it another try, but for now I'll wait.

Hi. I tried this method with a character on level 1, level him up to 11. The next day all the progress is gone and the char was level 1 again.

@DannyWolk Which platform are you on? Did you go fully offline/unplugged from the internet? I used this method on Xbox to max out at level 25 while jumping into a few online Operations for the late game upgrade tokens without any data loss. You need to be connected to the internet to communicate with the progression servers. Eternal War and Operations have 2 different leveling systems and they don't carry over regardless.

I wish this was easier. It’s pain in the a$$ to even start an operations game in online mode. Either others do nothing, someone gets to be the leader and again does nothing, or I cannot play the role I wish to play. Then in the game everyone just messes around. I want to play the story!

Yeah, also... why did the make a rule that every player must be a different class? Just... WHY? It makes no sense. Sure, a "real" space marine chapter wouldn't send three heavies, but what if that is what the players want to do? Why won't devs let players play the way they want, for f*** sake!

@Antares2 It usually comes down to one of the creative leads on the team. The last game I shipped was a 4-player co-op game with 4 characters. The CEO of the company making it (I worked with the publisher) insisted that only one of each character could be played in a game. That made matchmaking a mess, server costs skyrocketed, and players were not happy. Even after the feedback from players, he still refused to relax the limitation and the game bombed.

@@tigorestips It's a very strange design decision. I have never been part of game development, but I have played many games. And the best games are the ones that let players do whatever they want within the confines of the game. Freedom of choice and quality of life is very important.

I tried this on PC and it didn't work. Every time it times out, it puts me in offline mode. Its so annoying that they are intentionally withholding private lobbies. I don't want to play operations with randoms. I want to have my own experience.

@illuminaticonfirmed2240 If you follow the guide and timeout while tabbed out of the game window on PC or if you simply put the PC to sleep briefly while the game is running, you will be in the correct state to play. You will see "Offline Mode" in the bottom right corner. If you are still connected to the internet, the game will continue to communicate with the progression system while you play without matchmaking in Operations mode.

@joeyworldtour211 The staff doesn't matter. You need to cut off 4 of his 8 arms by only hitting him in the back during the 1st encounter. If his health hits 0 before you cut off 4 limbs, you will not get the gear.

I had the same issue. Went to the tiger to see if I missed any craftable armour and stupid me forgot like 2 pieces of the bronze armour. The plat trophy popped up just after I did that :)

I think a lot of it is also network problems on the game's end. I've never been kicked/dropped mid-game, but I've definitely seen other players be randomly dropped mid-game quite often.

Wondering why the trophy doesn't pop up for you? For those who (like me) think that the "Old Monkey King's Set" is the same as the "Monkey King Set": NO! These are two different sets and you need both to get the trophy. I've been wondering for a long time why I haven't gotten the trophy yet (even though I already had the "Locust Antennae Mask"). Get both sets (all bosses chapter 6 + secret chest) and the trophy is yours!

i used to do this sort of thing for GTAOnline, but i'd suspend the .exe in the resources section of the task manager for about 15 seconds, boom, private lobby (for a good while sometimes.... it would eventually fix itself, but you could just keep doing it and it wouldn't interrupt your missions/crew deliveries.
