Thank you Angela! Hope and Gary were wonderful guests. After 3 pages of notes, I was uplifted and inspired. Just a few gems were 'the void is full of potential (Hope's words) . And-'Through self-forgiveness ,I can accept who I am and cherish my journey, (rephrasing Gary) Also, '...we tend to protect ourselves... the negative energies can't survive in this space of allowing source energy to flow (rephrasing Angela) Gary's piano music 'meditation' segment touched me to tears. A beautiful interview.💜

Such a fascinating subject! It was so interesting to learn more about the connection between grief and dreaming and to realize how many people do have dreams of loved ones who have passed and how it may help bring closure to unsaid goodbyes. Thank you Dr. Joshua Black for all of your insights and Angela for hosting him! 💖

Thank you for this presentation. I was not aware of rescripting as I did have a dream that was not a pleasant one and I realize that it is the result of the trauma that I went through when I lost my father. Even though it will probably not repeat, I can do a rescripting of the dream to end it in a positive way. In my case it was the feeling of helplessness as my father deteriorated from his sickness and how I needed to comfort my mother of the loss. That other pointer about getting up when you can't sleep is also a very helpful one as I'm sure everyone experiences that at some point in their lives. And yes, our loved ones do visit us in our dreams and I have been told that when they're negative it is not a visitation but our subconscious working out an issue that we were working on.

Wow!! This interview is such a gem in which Cole allows grief to be grief AND gives so many ways to be able to work with it to start the process of recovering from whatever we have lost whether it be a person, home, job, lifestyle, or anything else. I also love that he proposes that our whole society be more educated on loss as a natural part of life so that we don't hide or suppress it but deal with our feelings more openly and with each other's support and love. Thank you Cole and Angela for taking your time to share this with us!

Thank you Cole for sharing your journey and Angela for hosting this interview. I’ve been following your grief interviews not as someone who’s suffered the loss of a close loved one like you have but as someone on a mental health journey. My therapist pointed out that one of the issues that I’m struggling with lately is grief over the loss of my ‘healthy self’. (Riding dirt bikes/ outdoor adventurer type of gal). The person I was before the decline in my health. I would have never put the label of grieving to that feeling of missing my old self but once she pointed out how much it bothers me, and that it would do me well to think about grieving my old self and look toward a new self I started watching your videos since she didn’t really help me with the ‘how?’ of that concept…..I’m learning a lot, and Cole really made it make sense. Thanks so much to you both! ❤🤗

So happy that this has been helpful for you! There are so many kinds of grief. We often don’t even know it’s what we are dealing with. Once we know then we can start finding out how it can help us heal. Thanks for commenting. We learn from each other. It is great to hear from you!

It is so nice to get a chance to hear from the author of her excellent book about how grieving affects our brain! I like how she stated that grieving is a form of learning because we don't know how to grieve until we go through it and then we can learn from the whole experience! Such a great conversation!! Thank you both for all that you shared!!

What a powerful story of how love in action can help so many people going through all the challenges of grieving from the first moments of hearing the tragic news, to all the people who came together to help in so many ways, to all the bonds that were created that still remain in place. Thank you both for shining a positive light on grief and the strength of all those who walk that journey. 💖
