Informative, but you really need to work on your audio. Very difficult to hear, even when I turned up the volumn.

I am a bit surprised that this video produced such a negative emotion. Personally, I like the printer, speed and quality of prints. The printer has a very solid metal structure which makes it stable and fast. Wiring of the main board, indeed is not the best. Although this is not a blocker.

@cant-draw-channel I wanted to ask you if you can make a design and show how it's done, it's not complicated, I saw in the pictures on some website it's a cup holder that also has a phone holder.

You probably have an all metal hotend.... have You had issues with clogging?
@cant-draw-channelАй бұрын
No issues with clogging so far. I've only been printing with PETG. Bed temperature at ~75°C, nozzle at 260°C. I keep the top glass door slightly open; during the 3-hour print, the chamber temperature remains stable around 35°C.

The ssr board melts on the 110v printers because it gets too hot

OMG. Thank you for the comment. I've just found this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/j33dgpuomb2imrM looks really bad. I'll reach out to QIDI too.

Yes, unfortunately the 110v draw current which the SSR cannot handle. It's fine for 220v though.
@cant-draw-channelАй бұрын
@@stickercambodia yes, this seems to be the issue only with 110v circuits. Talking to QIDI support about it now. They may have some hardware updates. Not sure yet.

QIDI ships replacment board for 115v ones shipped that way......not big deal, this printer is fantastic printer, very easy to replace board. Like other companies they put into production bit fast, issue resolved, you will not find another printer this size with heated chamber for this price that can print this well. The new wide belt makes huge difference also. Great printer and fantastic customer support.

You don't have to make this calibration with tool, you use it only when smth is wrong with prints, after first turn on you just have to make input shaping callibration and this 2nd (dont remember name) it was showed on couple of unboxing film thats how I know it..
@cant-draw-channelАй бұрын
Well, I just followed the steps shown on the printer screen after the first start. The most confusing part was the 0.05mm calibration plate, which is obviously not included with the printer. In firmware v1.0.0, there was nothing about "input shaping calibration". My feedback in this video is with the hope that the manufacturer would consider a less confusing user experience before shipping their products. Even if we take a closer look at the user guides included with the printer, there are three documents, and each of them contains much overlapping information. I wish there was only one definitive user guide. The printer is very good. I really like it. Can't wait for QIDI to release multi-material support for this printer
