Having grown up in Lawrence, I had the opportunity to visit all of the 15 Catholic churches that dotted the Greater Lawrence area. Like St. Mary's, my home church, Holy Rosary Church was an Augustinian parish church. I attended Mass there many times. And, its organ was a really beautiful sounding instrument, as one can hear right here. Such a wonderful sound!

Too bad the Austin was so abused. You can have a real instrument or a mess of pottage.

I think he was looking for specifics; if you look at the right-hand lectern, in that corner there’s a music light

I am a Mason, and of course have been appointed the organist at my Lodge (Oklahoma City #36). We have a little Baldwin instrument as built by the Viscount company. I'm envious of all the lodges in the northeast that have pipe organs! I am also the organist for the Guthrie, OK Scottish Rite bodies, where we have a lovely 1926 IV/65 Kimball instrument in the auditorium.

It should be noted that this is the lower (basement) church. St. Joe's had a pastor who was an accomplished amateur organist, who I understand made this acquisition happen. The original organ was a Hammond electric, installed at the rear of the lower church, long since gone when a small events space (the "Linse Room") was sectioned off from the rear of the lower church in the 1980s. It had the Hammond drawbars and everything. This is the parish I grew up in. Though I haven't lived in MA in over 18 years, I've returned to St. Joe's frequently enough while visiting family in town. Very fun to see this pop up on your feed! Any video of the upstairs organ?

Ah, this being a basement explains why the ceiling is so flat, the space looks both traditional and somewhat modern at once. Interesting that there are two full sanctuaries in the church. The organ sounds lovely
