Yes, you need a few drops of sewing machine oil, which you can buy in most supermarkets.

Me too. It was trashed not long ago. I remember seeing the carcass under the rain for many months at my mother's house until it was trashed. Mine was excavator RC not wired, I loved it.

Hello, I have recently bought CAT Loader 992C remotely controlled, probably the same kind as the one you have (from the 2nd minute) but slightly modified. I have a question about functions it ought to have (i don't know if everything works in mine) and if the red button/thingy on the left hand side should do something?

Hi, the red button has no function. It was only for testing the sound in the store. It works with another voltage as in the mormal play modus. So everything is fine on your loader. I hope I could help. 😊
