I was a boy that year, and I do remember seeing that familiar delta shaped plane in the sky. Nostalgia. 💯❤️👌😎

Outstanding!!! Goosebumps!!!!! Thank you for filming, while you would be just expected to be enjoying your flight, then sharing. The days to fly on it are long gone, the way you captured it are the next best thing. Thank you 👍

One day, regular normal morning at school aged 10, I got asked by my teacher to follow her to see the head/principle. I walked into his office and my wonderful Mum was there. I couldn’t understand what I’d done wrong and was so confused. So she drove me a few miles saying we’re going to London Stansted where she worked as a ground agent and only 4 miles away. We got there, my eyes lit up as we saw Concorde landing. Then she asked, “do you want to fly on it?” I was totally confused, but indeed I did. It was repositioning from London Stansted to Heathrow (not supersonic) after another supersonic charter. We did a very light weight take-off and the acceleration/climb actually frightened me! We were a modest family, I alway thank my Mum for saving and giving me that trip. Not many that can say they’ve done STN-LHR on Concorde G-BOAG. ❤️

When the Concorde was ready to commercially fly and accommodate passengers, almost all the Countries were reluctant to welcome the Concorde. The Middle Eat State of Bahrain was the only Country that welcomed the Concorde. I was so lucky to fly the FIRST British Airways Concorde flight from London to Bahrain. The Concorde, then, was equipped with 100 seats and the number of the passengers of the first flight was only 17 (seventeen). One of the Passengers on my first B.A. flight was a very old man. We were told that this old man was the Pilot who tested a first commercial flight, long time ago. His flight crashed. His co-pilot perished and the old man survived to become among the Passengers of the First Concorde flight ever. We were served champagne "Don Peri....", Russian Caviar and a sumptuous dinner. Our trip on the first Concorde Flight was very amusing. It took much longer than scheduled because the Pilots were speeding, then slowing when flying over Countries that did not like the sound, although we were 62,000 feet high. My subsequent Concorde Flights were on "Air France", but they had already added twenty more seats due to the excessive number of demand to fly the Concorde. British Airways mailed a beautiful Certificate to each Passenger who flew the First B.A. Concorde. I cherish this Certificate and proud to show it to my Family and friends. Sorry to miss the Concorde.

I got to go in one on the ground but never flew in one. I saw it fly above me many times and it left me in awe. Concorde is one of mankind's greatest engineering achievements and it is sad that young people today can only know it as history.

i feel sad being born too late to see this beautiful plane flying with my own eyes. The concorde must have been something very special. Like other people here i find it quiet interesting how the pilot is interacting with the passengers. I would love to get a glance at an commercial airplane cockpit during flight but i know its not possible because of procedures and security. Thanks for sharing this video!

Do you remember the registration of this lady? (I refer to the Concorde as ladies or old girls... 3 generations of RAF, it's the norm)

Sigh. ... one step forwards... five back. Pity it was uneconomic to undertake another c check on BA and AF fleet... what with the uniqueness of this beautiful aircraft it was also a mission for Airbus to keep parts available. Such a sad loss to aviation.

Wow, back in the day when the cockpit doors were left open on planes. Heck, can you imagine if Concordes had been hijacked on 9/11 instead of 767s and 757s?

I know this is an old video but, if pilots these days were taking to the passengers as much as they were in this video, I think that would be comforting. And super cool :) at least for aviation enthusiasts like me.

I flew on a Southwest Airlines jet to L.A.X one time. the Captain actually did say a few words before and during takeoff... but it did end right away. I thought it was cool though

@Andrew Miller Yeah it's cool to talk to passengers and fly at the same time. They say that a Concorde pilot were chosen after a more severe and tougher test/training compared to a NASA astronauts in those days...

Charles tex Watson was the one who was responsible for this heinous crime and yet hardly anyone has heard of him. If you ask most people who killed Sharon Tate the name Charles Manson would crop up , he may have ordered the killings (i believe he never thought the zombie killers would go through with it) but Watson could have stopped it happening by thinking whoa wait a minute, we can't do this for Christ's sake and gone back to Spahn and told Manson -sorry no one home , ah well let's have a beer. August 9+10 would have been just another normal day instead of the most horrible murders in history
