I did it on the 20th try! You can ignore the tentacles. Just use Interrupt (in my case Mind Snap - I was playing as a Jedi Consul) during its regeneration. It gives 4 seconds of action. During this time you can deal a significant amount of damage. You just need to do it periodically every time this piece of shit starts regenerating. Turns out the boss is actually easy. You just have to know how to use perks.

Why are so many people having a problem with this boss? I never had to target the tentacle during my rotation. Once I disrupt his period of rejuvenation during the first bit of the encounter, I get hit by obliterate and then finish him off. It leaves behind a singular tentacle. The tentacle I was supposed to attack (I presume).

theres better ways to play darkside than taking every single darkside options not even darkside your character is a dishonorable douche unbecoming of the storyline

as i played this game more and thought more on Baras as a character… i think he would’ve used Vemrin as the “Lord Draahg” character later on in the story.
