Idk, with chaya, katuk, sweet potatoe leaves and so many more. I cant see the reason to grow annual greens. Btw chaya tastes sooooo good.

Looks like a gigantic cutting factory for permaculture purposes!! Man my goal is to get my residential looking like this and then the pruning will provide free cuttings for the community!! Awesome footage!

I intended the same thing. 6 varieties of cassavs, 70 varieties of bananas, then lots of various things. I offer it for free and i think 4 people over 10 years have taken anything. Now i heap it in my truck and sell it to a nursery who sells it for lots of money.

@ I understand that alittle I guess like can’t lead a horse to water. That’s why I’m trying to figure it out. But I respect atleast getting the plants out there for sale! Either way great stuff!!

Beautiful Shelly. Didn’t know you had a channel. A nice, concise video representing the power of organic matter being farmed without the use of irrigation systems. Awesome highlight.

The upside of lettuce and kale and mache is they have almost no oxalates, whereas most of the tropical greens are somewhat high in oxalates, so I'd recommend at least taking a break from the tropical greens during the Florida cool season when lettuce/kale/mache grow easily, especially if you don't have Miracle leaf and Chanca Piedra in your garden patch to counter oxalates., although genetics and even a certain gut bacteria some people have are enough to counter them for most people. Green leafy lettuce is still rich in nutrients and super high in Vitamin K, the primary thing you need greens for.

If you're good with bananas the most profitable ones would be the variegated bananas which cost a little up front that if you can take one and turn it into 50 or more in 3 to 5 years you're great

Wow! I listened to your story on how sick you were and I can completely relate. Spent 8 years taking Prilosec, Zantac etc. for GERD. Doctors gave up and told me I would get throat cancer. Moved to Florida and went completely organic vegan. In 3 months I was off all meds. In 2 years I was completely healed. I love your food forest, absolutely beautiful. I now have a food forest in my tiny backyard.

Very salad centric diet guys got going, i love botany and appreciate the nutritional value of these plants but i rarely eat a salad unless its covered with chicken and some unhealthy dressing so i just mostly avoid salads lol My brother is like this he has 100s of different plants that grow edible greens and every time you go over there he makes you " try" atleast 1 leaf of each plant even if you kndly try to avoid it , all sort of taste like leafs to me lol Legumes , roots , grains if you want long term survival stuff , greens just aint got the the calories you would starve with a belly full of greens only , but tubers and beans and grains can keep ya going
