Lo mismo que a Marc Casado lo veo para el primer equipo de sobra a este chico Bernal no lo acano de ver. Lo veo un poco flojo. Le puede beneficiar que su perfil es el que buscan en el primer equipo, pero aun asi yo lo veo algo lento y torpe en los movimientos. Yo aun no lo acabo de ver.

Both bernal and casado are not CDMs for me one is too slow and heavy and one is too short and not strong bernal is like slower ruiz and casado is smillier to xavi he is not pure cdm onana was a perfact fit 195 cm tall strong fast and good technically sucks that we are broke

To give those who have not watched him play a little hint (little because he'll develop into his own personal version of player, not anyone else), Bernal is hardly similar to Busi. He's a much more hybrid profile in terms of style and, for now, far from a pure DMF. Even if we all think that he'll end up stablishing as a permanent pure dm (and we might be right, as that's the position he's been learning for years in the academy). A more accurate comparison that I've seen around, when you look at his way of playing, would be a mix of Rodri (a pure dm) + Fabian (a more advanced midfielder). This is why he suits a system as fluid as Flick's perfectly, because already in the USA tour we've seen how he constantly exchanges the role of the 6 with Casadó. That's why so far, it's been more a 4-3-3 than the "expected" 4-2-3-1. There has been a man playing in the middle of the low block when building the attack at all moments so far. The difference is that sometimes is one Marc, sometimes is the other. Let's see how all will develop for them once the injured assets are healthy again...

@@akbarca7283 na brother.. gavi is box to box with emphasis on attacking whereas fermin is a attacking mid whose sole purpose is to make runs into the box.. olmo is the same .. here comes casado who would be like Xavi , controlling the centre of the pitch.. not going too forward and bernal staying further behind him.. flicks style really compliments him and bernal.. we will have 4 attacker all time and to support them the wing backs would go forward ...

I don't know what you saw in bernal's game. He isn't slow. He slows the rhythm and keeps the game tempo under control. He's good at short pass, long pass, one touch etc. In the first half against milan Christensen is playing as a double pivot, he can't control the game, neither make forward passes according to our play style. Bernal needs to develop more to sustain in the top flight, but he can play as a double pivot against mid teams in league game effectively. As far onana, he is defensively really good. I'm a big fan aswell, but his passing is not great and can't maintain the tempo of game as required by a CDM. ONANA could be an upgraded version of Christensen in place of cdm, but he can't improve our gameplay. Anyways onana is sold to aston villa and thinking about him is a waste of time.
