I remembered to install a Sound Blaster in my PC and hear the sound of this game the first time. It was super cool! I played a lot!

I'm watching an impulsive player lol, multiple times the top right was not checked for spice, no castle for continuous attack and excessive aircraft. The best dune player yet, make more. Remember to find every safe harvesting location and get castle. At least you don't waste time with opening the entire map or teasing your enemy with slow attacks.

Pro tip: when you build a spice refinery a carryall drops off the harvester. If your refinery is close to a spice field let the harvester go to it and collect spice for a second then tell it to return to base. If you do the whole process fast enough the carryall instead of going away will come back to pick up the harvester, take it to the refinery, take the harvester back to the field and then the carryall will stay around permanently. Dont know if it still works with dosbox and all current versions of the game. But i used to do this trick back in the day and it worked 9 times out of 10.

wow so this is the first cnc RA95 holly guac. i got my first pc in 96 at the age of 8.... red alert kept me awake like a zombie for days i didnt ride my bike... roller blades... skateboard... nothing. just red alert and need for speed lol

this was 3 years before red alert, same developer, Westwood Studio. probably the first command and conquer style rts.

I started the Dune universe at 12 when my dad bought me Dune2000. Played every Dune game after and even read the books in my adulthood. Now I', nearing my 40's and my plan for the next week off is to get high as hell and play this game :)

Great! I play this game on friend's computer in my childhood! My own computer also can run Dune 2 but has BW monitor (green luminophore, who remember) and no soundcard at all - I prefer to see that colorful picture. Surprisingly, but today game don't look like too aged at visual... But controls, of course, far of modern standards, ordering units one by one etc...
