Before gluing the tape, wipe the surface from dust, so the adhesive tape will last longer.

What do you use to cool the burr?

During operation, the drill heats up so that the lubricant boils, so it is better to cool it (you can with water) and then apply the lubricant. (lubricant should be taken for work with high temperatures.)
