In Samsung phones, you can take pictures in macro mode, but you can't take videos. Is there a way to take macro video on Samsung phones?

That's a very nice video! I didn't really understand why I need more light - I think I missed a crucial point. Also, for regular filming, are there any benefits of using a macro lens versus non-macro? Thanks, Ron

you use that catch-phrase "buttery smooth" way too often.

I hate to tell ya, but handheld shoots just look like crap and very amateurish. And not everybody is privy'd to use Adobe Premier Pro like you. You can fool most people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time. Spotting handheld shoots is pretty easy. I'm not akin to shooting handheld because I am very unsteady on my feet for many reasons, although I have done handheld shoots many times. Most of the handheld footage I use is pretty much garbage. But the soundtrack on some of them are good, so I keep them around for the audio, which can be separated in post. I select the clip, split the audio from the video and delete the footage. Then the audio can be moved around and modified as needed. Good video, but crappy handheld footage. Handheld was once panned as amateur for good reason. It just looks bad. Sadly, many so-called "professional (and I use the term lightly) filmmakers" have resorted to shooting handheld. And the results always looks handheld no matter how they try making it not look so. I try shooting with a tripod at all times. If I can't, then I find a way to prop my camcorder on something to stabilize the shots and use my remote to start the camera without touching it. Moving on...

The reveal shot is actually really easy to do as a one-person operation. All you need to do is plan the shot before you do it, look for various landmarks (if available) so you can keep track where you are in your path, and above all PAY ATTENTION. As long as you cover those basics, the reveal is a piece of cake to pull off as a single operator.

How do these macro tubes work with 4k cams like the Pana G7 and also tubes cause some slight relsolution loss is what ive heard. So is this problem not so bad for 4K shooters who are going to do a final render to 2K ?

way too much use of the phrase "buttery smooth." once or twice during your presentations would have been enough. Your presentation is ok... I hate the constant drone off the background music soundtrack you chose because of the constant base and drumming, thrumming in my ears. You are reasonably well spoken, and I really like the introduction. It was fairly well made and presented... none of those overused, amateur and cheesy intros that everybody and his sister or brother loves to use... you know the ones I mean... "hey-guys, or, hi-guys, or what's-up guys?... shall I go on? No need to. It surprised and pleased me that your presentation was well thought out, with the exception of your overuse of the phrase "buttery smooth." It was used way too much and turned out to be very redundant... very much like how I repeated myself about how you overused the phrase... get the point? Nice video, nice ideas. Thanks.

Awesome info for the beginners like myself! By the way, if I want to film something really close, such as a product review video, do I need to buy a macro lens to achieve the shorter minimum focus distance? I am trying to film a product review video in the first person perspective using both of my hands, but I realized that my Sony Alpha 6500 with kit lens does not allow me to focus on a product when I tried to bring it closer to capture the details.
