Idk what I’m doing wrong. I’ve followed so many different videos and nothing seems to fix my problem. I get almost no crema when pulling my shot. And when I push double shot, it only gives me 18g rather than 36g.

Pro tip: If you (like me) do not pay attention to the angle of the pitcher while steaming the milk, you get to add another step to the process, cleaning all the milk you splattered all over your new machine and counter and self. Watch, then try, if you need to rewind, pause what you are doing lol!!! Oh my wife is gonna kill me lol!

The proper way to do ristretto is to keep the grind size the same but cut the pour short to about 15 seconds to get the 1 to 1 ratio. It's just not the same when you do a full pour with finer grinds

I've just got my express impress. I'm still confused as to differentiating between making a latte or cappuccino or even a normal flat white. In a different video as far as I could see the only difference seemed to be in technique of swirling or steaming the milk. I was a bit dismayed at this because there's no obvious indicator that I'm going to be doing each one right. Please can you try to clarify. Thanks.
If you're machine gave you 15g by default and you put 18g in the hopper you're still only going to get 15g unless you increase the output on the machine to have it dispense 18g which you did not mention if you did indeed do that.

I've just done my first cleaning with the tablet (after around 2 months of use) and noticed that the pressure does not max out. Any ideas why? Please note that I've newer model, so there should be no water coming out and the pressure should be maximum (I assume?).

What is a good setting to keep it on? I know that there’s an inner one and an outer one. I’ve seen people do five on the outer one and four on the inside one or seen people say do eight on the outside one and three on the inside one I honestly have no idea what to do. I want to make a good dark espresso drink with some syrup and chocolate sauce with ice. I’ve never had an espresso machine. This is my first one. I just bought it someone tell me some tricks.

Thanks for vid. My concern with this recipe is pulling a weak 56 gram shot and then adding 1:1 milk. That really blunts the flavor of the coffee and seems like a recipe designed to just fill the cortado cup. I typically do like a 32 gram (1-to-2) shot and then add about 35-40 grams of micro-foam milk (2% works great). You get a rich full-flavored drink with a deep mahogany color and chocolaty flavor. Nothing better!
