hey, seems like you use the syllables as if the melody is in Bb rather than in F - is there a reason for this? (Im trying to get into jazz solfege). thanks!

Yes that’s what I do. I don’t have perfect pitch but I have strong relative pitch and I hear syllables with DO as Bflat. Just the way my ears work, like synesthesia

Why did y’all play “Inner Urge” so laid back? I love this tune for its tension and intensity…literally its “urgency”. Don’t mind that little criticism, though…Alexa. “Firefly” is my *FAVORITE* jazz album to come out in the past few years! It stays in constant rotation.
