Isa 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keeps the sabbath from polluting it, and takes hold of my covenant; Isa 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. Isa 56:8 The Lord GOD which gathers the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him. Isaiah is writing here in chapter 56 about the last time--our time. The tribes of the Northern Kingdom had been thrown to the four winds, ultimately forgetting who they were. But Isaiah says they'll return--teshuvah--to the Father by way of the keeping the Sabbath and serving Him. They may not know who they are, but we are waking up to the Shepherd's voice in these final days. Judah is in the land awaiting his brothers' our homecoming. You've missed the entire point of the disciples gleaning from the field. That IS permissible in the Torah as field corners and edges were to be left. If you notice, it was the GATHERING of the manna that wasn't to occur on the sabbath. And boiling and baking took a heck of a lot of work until only recently. Do NOT pawn off on the Messiah your law-breaking. You can't find a change or deletion of the Sabbath anywhere in that Luke passage.
