I saw him a few days after this on Beale St with me father. He had just picked me up from Texas after 4 years active duty C130 Loadmaster and 4 combat deployments. We watched Richard for maybe 4 hours it felt like. We filled his tip jar and he got his two seats when we couldnt dance anymore. Still one of the best memories of my life. Thanks Richard and thanks for uploading.

Saw this guy in Helena Arkansas and I was mesmerized by totally unique talent. The crowd in the tiny juke were as silent and attentive as these kids.

I regret not seeing Richard down on Beale Street while I had the chance. The one time I was in Memphis he was not there. I did see Ben Prestage a few times and was able to talk to him and his girlfriend, who I believe was the subject of the song “Weedhead” what they both do is amazing, but Richard created the hardware to make it possible.

The frustrating thing is, they clearly didnt need to sell out (as they did by their own admission by going pop to capitalize on the success of Brothers). They could have done something which crossed over with their raw punk blues vibe and their mainstream appeal. Still, I'll always appreciate the first 10 years they gave to us all.

I am a huge fan of Black Keys, but this cacophony doesn't have a patch on the Beatles version - go listen to it on the album, Revolver. By the way Govt Mule does more justice to this classic tune. Sorry guys.
