Merry Christmas ... 10° A mans man ..... I had a Pace American 8 x 8 x 24 dual axel .... It didn't hold much before the wheels hit the internal wheel wells ... Guess I overloaded it too many times but it was a workhorse..... at 59 going to 69 with NO moisture in sight out here in the desert .. Only Cotton, Alfalfa and Pecans out here. If I was in 10° now all you would hear is my teeth chattering😂

4650s are just stout machines that you see on the regular out here in connecticut. One farm near me has 2 fully operational ones plus a parts one. Would love to see a video on that when you find the time

That is a nice upgrade. Be tough to outgrow that one. At 1400 hours I'm surprised that the tires are so worn down on the 6115.

1209.03 is exhaust manifold pressure high. More than likely a DPF getting full and needed a regen.

@@pc5569 it did do a regen while the code was displayed ….. however I have been using the tractor since and the code hasn’t came back. We are in the teens here so I’m hoping it was iced up …. Because neither one of those things ( sensor or DPF) look like fun to change!

On Facebook they have a Group "John Deere 4 series group" that shares information on these tractors. I don't recall a post like this, but the other owners are very helpful and share this kind of experience based information and learning. Good luck brother.

Drop it down a half an inch, I try not to chisel with them, I plan to have teeth marks in the dirt, touching the dirt

I feel like deere is putting to small of an axial under that size of tractor i mean look at kubota's front Axials on they're compact 60 horse power tractors they are much bigger and these mushene are supposed to be worked hard

Yeah … brand new front end was $5,600( without the labor) so that was the big cost…. And I do work that tractor to its max! I know the mechanic that worked on it and he’s a stand up guy. He took me in the shop and showed me what wore out.

All I know is that it would still work in 2 wheel drive but unfortunately the gears still turn when the front wheels move…. There is no way truly disengage the wheels to allow them to spin freely.

They almost look identical! But I believe the 258 has a 9’ span and the 256 8’-6” other than that I don’t see any other differences.

When I used to deal with cleaners all the time I use that Udder Balm to heal my arms ... Amazing stuff ... as far as the sinking asphalt... Its sinking for a reason (undermined) youd have to dig it out and support it by gravel or cement, then use a hot or liquid tar on the edges so the new asphalt will adhere
