My last two toes on both feet curve (?) inward when I stand (they make it look like I was wearing shoes that were too small for majority of my life) Would something like this help correct them?
@NaturalFootgear3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Patricija. Thank you for your comment. Most shoe-wearing people are in the same boat, unfortunately, when it comes to the appearance of their 4th and 5th toes. The good news is that Correct Toes was designed to help address this very problem. Combining the toe spacers with footwear that possesses a sufficiently wide toe box can be very helpful in restoring optimal foot function and toe alignment. You can find Correct Toes here: naturalfootgear.com/collections/correct-toes And you can find compatible footwear here: naturalfootgear.com/collections/womens-shoes We hope this info helps! Please let us know if you have any follow-up questions.

I have yet to find a shoe with a wide enough toe box to fit them. I have the Lem's primal 2s and their chukka boot and there's not enough room in either one.
@NaturalFootgear3 жыл бұрын
We're sorry to hear that, Andrew! We recommend that individuals who have relatively wide feet remove the included (optional) insoles that come with the shoes to help open up maximum space for the feet. This can make a big difference in some cases. In our experience, though, we've found that most people can comfortably wear Correct Toes inside both the Lems Primal 2 shoe and the Lems Chukka boot. You might consider trying Ahinsa shoes, which have one of the widest toe boxes available: naturalfootgear.com/collections/mens-ahinsa-shoes. All the best to you!

I got immediate relief from Morton's Neuromas the first time I put them on. I'm not going back to regular shoes - am sticking with zero-drop, barefoot, normal toe splay shoes - and I'll wear these for the rest of my life if need be. Walking pain free can't be beat.

We're so glad to hear it, Madison Heights! That's excellent news. Most people who try Correct Toes and healthy-foot-shaped footwear usually never return to wearing conventional shoes, as it just feels wrong to try to make the foot conform to the shoe, instead of the other way around. So how long would it take to see effect? Or how long do you have to use them to not need them anymore?
@NaturalFootgear3 жыл бұрын
Great question, Michiel. And the answer is: It depends on what you're trying to achieve. For those who are looking to address foot pain or discomfort, the pads can be helpful pretty much right away, especially if they are incorporated into a comprehensive natural approach to foot care, which is discussed in more detail here: naturalfootgear.com/blogs/educational-articles/10-best-natural-foot-health-tools-tips. For promoting structural changes in the foot (e.g., to help straighten a hammertoe), it's going to require a longer period of use (months, or in severe cases, years). Just as most foot problems took a long time to develop, so too does it take some time to successfully rehabilitate the feet. I hope this info helps!

Do these hurt with prolonged wear throughout the day? I've purchased similar ones from other companies, and they always hurt, so I stop using them. Is there a recommended maximum amount of hours to wear these a day? I really want to try these out.
@NaturalFootgear3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Kendra. Great question. Wearing Correct Toes should not cause any discomfort (if it does, that's an indication to back off the wear-time a bit), but it's important to start in with wearing the device gradually. We usually recommend 30 minutes of wear-time per day initially, and then slowly adding more time over the following weeks. Most people find that they can ultimately work their way up to using the device for most of the day. We hope this info helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Took this video for me to identify "adductovarus toe" or curly toe. I thought this was just how the last two toes on my feet were (not very noticeable to me). I knew the most curled one was not a mallet toe (closest deformity) and I didn't even consider it an issue until I tried on Correct Toes and have to untuck the ring toe on both feet through the device and have to pull the toe into the toe sock. Also, this is where the device kills my feet when not used with 5 finger socks. Not between the toes but the silicone at the bottom of the foot. That toe can't handle the pressure.

Passive toe deformities like what you described often are! Sometimes they remain this way, other times pain or discomfort develops over time. In general, we always feel that it's best to address an underlying problem before other issues crop up (for alignment, circulation, and biomechanical considerations, if nothing else), but it's certainly true that you can go for quite a while without experiencing any crooked toe-related pain.
