My kit came from Italy , took along time to make it the way I want , there’s better kit this days that will save you 15k

i had a problem with few new starters new from the box , until i got one that been working good until now , better get a bosch , btw when i bench tested the 2 new ones they worked fine but not on the car , very wired i was thinking i'm going crazy .

Cool I have my second X1/9 1980 Love the the car , plans on putting in a V6 and 5 speed front wheel drive set up along with K frame from parts from a Shelby Charger and a Plymouth Voager van. Also suspension parts and the Shelby mag wheels. My own tube frame and crash cage to hold it all together. Thanks for the inspiration and information

Great to see your working on your X1/9 don’t give up. I think your discs are on the wrong way. I was always told the curve on the disc should be the same direction as the windscreen.

Check into the jugs that 87 has the best power valve it's huge I'm sure you can look it up on you tube and will explain that 87 only year it was that big 88 thru 92 was smaller and 85 86 the reeds are inside no valve
