For the first lot of Meteor 350 and classic reborn Royal Enfield had made it mandatory to chcek the gasket and adjust the tappet/timming chain even if there was no issue.... Later Company changed their SOP and informed the tappeet usually doesn't require adjustment in first service.. it should only be adjusted at 10,000km.... But if customer request or the mechanic found there is requirement of tappet adjustment then and only then it is done at 1st service alonh with gasket change. The Service centre mechanic realised that your beloved Meteor 350 doesn't require tappet adjustment at this moment that's why they didn't do it. Even if you check in your Royal Enfield mobile app ... the service estimator section there is also not mentioning of routine tappet adjustment in 1st service. Previously it was supposed to be there. Its very easy to Blame It's very easy to Blame...

Okay Sir, if the company has changed its SOP then it must remove Cam cover gasket from the service kit, why they r charging for it? Also, the service center manager apologised to me , they should hv explained me that it’s okay. Bro bro I just showed what happened to me.. and yes my BIKE is so much BELOVED😍 to me.

Get a longer bolt aftermarket, as due to the saddle stay bolt’s length gets shortened!!
