doesnt fix my issue, my webcam locks up for about a second or two, randomly genuinely have 0 idea how to fix this.

My heartfelt thanks and gratitude for this video, my good fellow. I was 30 minutes away from being called into a live Zoom Q&A, when I connected XSplit Broadcaster to Zoom and it FROZE up. I never would have thought to tweak my video output settings, and I was close to terminating XSplit and going with the raw camera feed on Zoom (thus losing out on easy scene switching for slides). But I did a quick search and even though your video said OBS, the webcam freeze issue is just the same under XSplit and when connecting into Zoom. So I simply went into XSplit's Broadcast menu and clicked the cog to get to Local Streaming Properties, where I switched Video Encoding to the base x264 codec with CBR compression (moving down from the NVENC H.264). And voila, XSplit beautifully sent the Elgato Facecam's image into Zoom with no freeze. Long story short, day saved, stream went down beautifully, you saved my day. I owe you one, bigtime. :)

My brother is having a problem while streaming, where when he plays Rainbow Six Siege (which is the ONLY game that causes this), his camera stutters/freezes. He can play and stream other games on his PC just fine, but for some reason, R6Siege gives him problems with his streaming camera. I was hoping if anyone see's this, there might be a somewhat easy, quick fix for this issue? I doubt it, but thought it would be worth a try to just ask for a little help. I think it's something to do with the game, since it's the only game he has camera issues with, but I know sometimes it could be much, much more complicated than that when it comes to computers and streaming. But if anyone has any input, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I'm recording for games along with the webcam, but why is it that every time I finish recording, my game recording is smooth and clear, but why is my webcam recording smooth but not clear? smooth but like buffering so when I do a lot of movement the image from my webcam is definitely buffering. Please help me with this issue🙌

Mostly fixed for me. Had to turn my camera down to 30 FPS instead of 60. Hoping next stream it works.

Thanks for the tip, Unfortunately it looks like it will only work if i'm using a direct feed from the camera, tried similar with xsplit vcam & snap cam and still get this weird stuttering. Even with both software. *scratches head*
