Junior Brown fallowed his own path. He refused to be mainstream. He's doing what he loves, in his own style. His wife by his side playing acoustic guitar. He invented the guitar he plays. To play both at the same time.... BRILLIANT!

Good shit! I know I'm a dick head for this, but sometimes when I'm bored on the road I'll get on channel 19 and say something homophobic or political and then just sit back and listen to an argument unfold. It's a lot more entertaining than any music or podcast I've ever found, and I've learned some amazing insults over the years! There's still an awesome brotherhood out there though. I always keep the radio on to listen for accident and smokey reports and stuff like that, and I'll always call out if I'm the first to see something.

Too many on here don't know Red Simpson. Bakersfield sound, more and better trucker songs than the rest combined. Red wrote this, Highway Patrol, Diesel Smoke, Dangerous Curves, Hello, I'm a Truck, Sleeper Five by Two, and a BUNCH more. Go check him out. There's a good reason Jr wanted to record his songs. That's Red in the pictures here, and singing with Jr.

My boyfriend in the 1970's and early 80's had a big Tram base station with a 500 Watt linear. The CB Wars were unbelievable. Funny beyond belief. There was also an 18 month electronic race riot in our area. Amazing times.
