Hello sweet Lori, Do you teach ladies bible classes? Thank you for sharing your heart. The discouragement of what struggles brings is wearisome, and so I find respite in prayer. Breath prayer - I like this way of saying it. Take care and prayers for you too.❤ This is one of the bible verses that I whisper to myself. ESV Psalms 94:19 "When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul."

God is so good! ❤ Thank you so much for sharing your heart with us today. It is a much needed reminder for us to know how much He loves us and how much He provides for us in the good and bad times. I know that the reason I am still standing and moving forward is all Him and all for HIs glory. I struggle with loving myself and taking care of myself. The enemy has stolen that from me because I allowed it due to many things that happened in my life. But even in that I know my strength and peace comes from the Lord and because of that I have been able to love on others and be there for others and I am learning now, at 46 years old, to love myself too. Again, thank you so much for this. I needed it today. ((hugs)) You are in my prayers, sis.

Hey, Hey, Hey now. God loves you and we love you. I know it is hard not to cry about how wonderful God is (I myself am a crier. I can't sing gospel songs without crying, LOL). Life is very hard, and it is a struggle every day (sometimes it is a struggle in your own home, where life is supposed to be nurturing), everyone sometimes loses sight of God in the muck and mire. We must remember that Jesus said, "it will be hard for those who chose to follow me", especially hard for those who loves God. But one of the things that God gives us are people who will followship with you. You are an amazing child of God. Putting yourself out here, and we are better for it. God Bless you and may his face always shine down upon you. Read Psalm 91, for it is a battlefield for us as soon as our feet hit the floor. Sending my love and hugs. Now how about some coffee???? ☕ 😁

Hello!!! Love your channel! So I deal with anxiety omg but I’ve found that this is what also drives the perfection side of me as well and then the depression when goals or the feeling you let someone down hits. Took a long time as an adult to realize we all deal with this or stuff like it on some level. And everyday is a work in progress

Your videos have been helping me… I am a mom of two boys 22 and 16 my 22 year old has autism and I have a husband that all in itself is a full time job!!! lol 😂 then I drive a special ed bus 🚌 for 40 plus hrs a week. Between that and having a few friends that are dealing with some things and they are aging I have found that I am giving all of my everything and it is so very hard to keep giving and giving and giving all of my everything so your videos help refill my cup so that I have more to give.

Yes, it is important to know that you're not by yourself and that what you're feeling is real and legitimate and does require us to work through it. @@lifeonfoothill I, like you don't share my true feelings. But I am drowning myself. I stay in the word as much as possible for he is the only way I can hope to survive. Life is hard especially when your home is not harmonious. I watch you and can see that there are so many of us that are similar. It can be a lonely life. I now at this age, have no true friends and we went from living in a populated area to a rural area. I am so truly sorry that you suffer also. I will but you on my prayer list also. Hey, this is a positive thing I want to tell you. Don't you find it amazing that a lot of us seem to decorate (having a house where we have lots of stuff around, almost to hug us) and that we are artistic? It is sad in a way that God gives us wisdom when we are older. I sure could have used this wisdom when I was younger. Hope to speak to you soon. ♥

Yes, I understand my home life is very hard too and it makes it hard to stay above water! I'm sorry you have it that way also. I find that if I romanticize my life and find joy and peace in the little things like making my home cozy or just breathing in the fresh air or seeing the creation around me or just painting or Crafting sketching etc they distract our minds so that our thoughts aren't screaming at us as loud! I worry about being a downer on these videos but I feel like sometimes we just need to connect to realize we aren't alone! Hugs and much Love, Lori

@@lifeonfoothill I can't believe it. I am so happy that you said this "our thoughts aren't screaming", I have said that "my brain is screaming" so many times and people just look at me. I ask doesn't that happen to you? And they are always like "no". I believe those that are closer to God have these problems. I know that God wants us here for something, but I also know that my home isn't this earth. But I will be grateful for all that HE gives me and will be at service for HIM any time he ask. You said something so important. I thought the same as you, "why am I here and what is my purpose?", then you made me feel better by saying, taking care of your family is what God want us to do as service. Thank you for saying that. A while back I went to school for Theology and thought that maybe I could be of service with that, but as of this date, I can't find anything for that education where I live. But you are not a downer, you inspire me. I know that sometimes it is hard to get up and move, I feel the same. I believe that has something to do with being called by God, even if we have a hard time reading the word. Fear no he is with you. I wish you lived closer as you would make a great coffee friend. Be well. Know that there are people that love you, even people that you have not physically met. But what is more important is that GOD loves you and you are here for HIM. @lisarosemcpherson944 Oh yes I understand all too well the screaming thoughts! I think when my depression gets worse I find it hard to concentrate on anything because that's when the thoughts are very loud. I know that God can quiet those thoughts if I trust him! I do believe that taking care of your home and family is a call to service because those are people he loves too! He wants us to be that light in their lives as well because one day they may need to reflect that light on someone else or their families! It's so important to know that serving others can be so simple or so complicated but that's by God's design. He puts you on the path you need to walk as long as we are walking it with him! I love you and yes I wish we could have coffee together that would be a lovely day for sure! God bless your beautiful soul my friend and you have made my day as well! You are a blessing to me and so important in this world, just think if God put us in each other's path just so we could touch each other's lives, maybe that's why we are here ❤️ much love, Lori

Hello from New Jersey… I came across your video on my suggested thread. I’m a fellow KZbinr, I’m a believer, and I totally understand. I wouldn’t say depression but being down at times and also not trusting people and also not having a ton of friends. I would say that has a lot of acquaintances and I have had friends in and out of different seasons of my life. I’m currently in a new season and I have found that the friends I had once had don’t necessarily fit with my current Place in life as a grandma for the first time and an empty nester. We’re also a family of special needs so that always makes people shy away. I appreciated your honesty and I appreciate it.
